I personally think 'diagnosing' people based on their public performance is probably a bit hit and miss to say the least, as well as being unprofessional and misguided.

I agree Mr. Trump is probably a narcissist. Diagnosing someone they have never met and then going public with the results seems rather unprofessional of psychiatrists. Very reminiscent of Dr. Kieth Ablow's diagnosing of President Obama.

Most patients in psychiatric hospitals are there to be observed. Various aspects of an individual's behavior contribute to a conclusion (diagnosis) by the observing PhD.

Having lived with a clinical psychologist for nearly thirty years I can assure you their observations of behavior are far more revealing than are those of the ordinary individual.

More than any other factor, what Obama had going for him was the stark personal contrast between himself and Bush.

While George W. Bush was the very embodiment of everything that is wrong and ugly about the elitist class in White America Obama reflected an instantly visible contrast. And while George W. Bush was a bumbling intellectual embarrassment, Obama is highly intelligent and an extremely skillful public speaker with a likable, friendly aspect to his personality. In simpler terms, after eight years of Bush, Obama was a welcome relief.

Donald Trump inherited a fortune from his real-estate developer father who taught him the business. While Donald has successfully applied what daddy left him and taught him it may be said he did so with obvious skill and natural ability. Also, NYC real-estate is a difficult arena if you own none and are not wealthy. But if you own a lot of property and have sufficient cash to back up your riskier moves the profit potential is vast, especially in the multi-million dollar category of properties.

But don't let Trump's success in NYC real-estate serve as the criterion by which you measure his potential as President. Above all, don't lose sight of the fact that Trump is a One-Percenter. At this stage in the decline of the middle class we need Bernie Sanders -- not Donald Trump. And that's a very important difference! (Unless you happen to be very rich.)
