You can see at the beginning the TS man was yelling and screaming at different people, and then the man in white comes over and starts punching him. If he would not have been yelling at people, the group of thugs probably wouldn't have done anything.

As much as I am against the transgender lifestyle, beating on anyone is wrong until its in self defense and I highly doubt that the transgender person threw the first punch especially if they want to be treated like a lady is supposed to be treated.

It is getting increasingly hard to find, but the original video, before the media edited out what doesn't fit the agenda, the TS man is seen yelling and taunting the crowd. It is unclear what he was yelling, or why. ANYONE, transgender or not, yelling at a crowd of people and making a spectacle of yourself in a bad neighborhood is highly likely going to lead to a group of thugs doing exactly this.
Doesn't make what the group of young men did to this man right, but provides additional context and motive as to why they did it.
Had this man not been a TS, this would have never hit the news.
