Treasury Secretary Mnuchin refuses to release Trump's tax returns

If there were "probable cause that Trump committed obstruction", Mueller would have recommended indictment

Why can;t you get it through your fucked up head that Mueller COULD NOT indict AND he DID list TEN instances where Trump could be indicted either after he leaves office or impeached by the WHOLE congress.

If there was something Trumps taxes that was illegal don't you think the IRS would go after it? Unless we now have a kinder gentler IRS they tend to go after people who cheat on their taxes like a pit bull going after raw meat.

Tax Fraud is only a possible outcome...

Trump could be profiting from foreigners, that is against the law.

The IRS could be not treating him equably.

There is many reasons and this is why presidents before him freeze their assets and publish there tax returns... Congress has the power to look at them anyway..

Things you really, really, REALLY wish you could find are not the same as "reasons". Reasons would require some evidence that such a crime may have been committed (that funny thing our legal system calls "probable cause") other than your desperate daydreams.

Congress does not have the power to violate the rights of citizens any more than anyone else does, no matter HOW much ass-licking little government-worshippers like you long for them to be all-powerful tyrants.

The MAIN and SIMPLEST question that Trump's tax returns from the IRS would reveal, is whether Trump lied about being "under audit" for the last decade.

The real question remains, "What fucking business is that of YOURS?"

The IRS has determined the demands for Trump's returns are political theater and not legit.
Years of court battles to follow. :D

Treasury Department rejects Democrats' request for Trump tax returns
Trump has to shroud himself in secrecy or go to prison.
Or so you need to believe.

Petulant Democrat curiosity is not a valid reason to pierce any Americans' privacy but you can hang on the the very slim hope the unhinged crybabies will win in court ... someday.
Suspicion of criminal activity and treason sure are
Point being there is no evidence of criminality and no charges. Suspicion and allegations are not proof of guilt. IRS justly determined it's just another partisan Democrat Socialist witch-hunt but the attorneys will benefit until the court sorts it out ... in about 5 or 6 years.

Seriously, could you have a single clue about the actual law... I suggest for this one look at the Teapot Dome Scandal and the aftermath... Congress or Senate can ask for anyones tax returns without the need for a reason... Bu they did give one here... They want to investigate if the IRS are subjecting Trump to the same standards as everyone else... Remember Trump brought this upon himself by saying his is always under Audit...
Not true and Trump is right to defend every Americans' 4th Amendment protection against unwarranted search & seizure.

You should thank and pray for him ... your sorry ass could be next in the wringer or even worse, mine. In fact, you should man-up and vote for him in 2020.

It sickens and disgusts me to watch nominal Americans like these fools eagerly and enthusiastically throw their freedoms, their independence, and the rule of law at the feet of any and every government figure who happens to be pandering to them at the moment.

He could have recommended indictment to the AG or at least concluded Trump and/or members of his fam had committed a crime in his pesky 440 page INTERNAL DOJ report. He didn't. In fact, he found exactly the opposite:
"this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime."

Do you find that to be in any way unclear or ambiguous or is it just disappointing?

in Teapot Dome, Congress had actual evidence that a crime - bribery - had been committed BEFORE they went looking for evidence. In other words, they had that little thing called "probable cause". In THIS case, Congress is demanding the records in order to (hopefully) FIND probable cause in the first place. Very different scenario.

You learned your "law" from the back of your cereal box; proving that you are a fucking idiot.

"Probable cause" CLEARLY rests in the fact that Trump has NOT divest himself from the hotel in DC where he is breaching the emolument clause.

"Probable cause" is also part of the congressional functions to OVERSEE the executive branch as part of Article I.

Finally, congress has every right to demand from the IRS is the orange piece of lard has told the truth that his tax returns are STILL "under audit" for each of the years that the tax returns were requested.

For the sake of discussion let's say Trump is being audited. Sooooo, audited for when? Five years ago, four, three, two, one? Does Trump think that the American people are stupid enough to believe that the IRS is still auditing his taxes from 6 years ago?

I'm surprised Trump isn't claiming it's the Dems fault the audits are taking this long due to the shutdown over his vanity wall.

For the sake of discussion, let's say you have some right to know about Trump's audit. So what is that right?

Do YOU think the American people are stupid enough to think you know more about taxes than the IRS does?

I'm surprised you aren't claiming that winning an election when you didn't want him to is a capital offense.

PRECISELY........Just how damn lazy are these IRS auditors....lol

Just how stupid are you, to think that you know what an audit of someone like Trump should and shouldn't take? Amazingly enough, the personal impressions of a low-income blathering halfwit like you mean nothing to how the IRS does its job, or whether or not they're doing it right.

Tell you what eternal moron........Answer this.....

Sid the Mueller report FULLY EXONERATE Trump???................A simple Yes or No will do before you go change your diapers.

They know nothing of the rule of law, our constitutional rights to due process and presumption of innocence, or the 4th Amendment "right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

And yeah, it's disheartening to find so many bitter fools would eagerly surrender any or even all of our rights and constitutional protections just for a bit of relief from the constant butt-hurt that has afflicted them non-stop for 30 months.
BTW, tomorrow is the 30 month anniversary of Shrillary's epic defeat.

Let me help a moron like you....since I'm a nice guy.......

Why did Trump call on Russia to hack Hillary's emails???? (you know, Russia if yo're listening???"......and "I love Wikileaks")..........Since Trump is such a defender of the 4th Amendment....WHY THE FUCK DID HE ASK OTHERS TO VIOLATE HILLARY'S PRIVACY???

Let me help a moron like YOU - again. You don't get to declare, "This is what happened, and this is what he did" any more after you got the investigation you demanded and it didn't agree with you.

WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU STILL INSISTING THAT YOUR ACCUSATIONS BE TREATED AS TRUE?!

Do YOU think the American people are stupid enough to think you know more about taxes than the IRS does?

YES............Nixon was "cleared" of his tax return audit ....but when congress requested a review of that audit.......the IRS found it had made a :mistake: and that Nixon actually OWED more than half a million dollars.

So, YES...........the IRS makes lots of mistakes.

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin Informs Dem, Who are Witch Hunting Trump Rather Than Working For the American People, That They Can Kiss His Ass and They Still Will Not Get Trump’s Tax Returns

House Ways and Means Chairman Richard Neal (D-MA) in a letter that his committee’s request for Trump’s tax returns “lacks a legitimate legislative purpose.”

“Out of respect for the deadlines previously set by the Committee, and consistent with our commitment to a prompt response, I am informing you now that the Department may not lawfully fulfill the Committee’s request,” Mnuchin said, citing legal guidance from the Department of Justice.

“Until such time that I’m not under audit, I would not be inclined to do that,” Trump said.

There is no law requiring a president to release their tax returns, but the Democrats don’t care about laws.

Since you're posting a link with no explanation or citation from the link, we can only assume you know it doesn't prove you right, and you're just hoping we'll be as pig-stupid and gullible as you are and take your word for it.

But by all means, prove me wrong. Cite me exactly where your link says either that Mnuchin can release any tax records he wants, to whomever asks, without probable cause, or that Presidents' tax returns are public property.

No they don't and after 30 months of Mueller's witch-hunt you think he didn't consider and investigate every aspect of Trump's life before stating unequivocally, and I quote: "this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime?"

I realize your butt still hurts BIGLY and tomorrow is the 30 month mark but continuing your hysteria isn't pretty and it isn't healthy.

They know nothing of the rule of law, our constitutional rights to due process and presumption of innocence, or the 4th Amendment

NItwit,,,,,,,,,,if the 4th Amendment did not list a bunch of reasons why it is NOT absolute.....every drug dealer in the US would be cheering idiots like you on.

READ... COMPREHEND..... LEARN...the law instead of relying on Hannity for all your "education"

26 U.S. Code § 6103

Not my concern and I will answer in any way I deem appropriate (1st Amendment). The witch-hunt was a prosecutorial action ... by definition intended to uncover crimes and criminality. It did not find any Trump crimes.
