It does not have to be specific to this day, just even that year. Even that month, or even that Ras was wrong about the Obama approval rating at all during his first term.

The mid-terms will be rough beating an obvious dementia case like Hillary whether it was the booze or neurological was pretty much of a gimme everyone but the Kool-Aid drinkers and the non-citizen voters could see she was non-functional long before the alibi tour. But there are a lot of potential potholes in the road to winning the mid terms:

If Huber (the designated appointer) appoints an independent counsel Trump had better give a blanket pardon to all D members of congress for everything short of obstructing the independent counsel's work otherwise the investigation will be seen as will be seen as a witch hunt.

The Rs cannot prevent themselves being booted aside if they are attacked on their right flank in the primaries. The Ds being used to running on the fuehrer principle can provide more protection to their incumbents in the primaries as Hillary demonstrated with Bernie.

It will take luck and good tactics to win the house the Senate is quite doable.
