Trump's response to Maria was amazing. FEMA rocked. There was this hiccup though. FEMA was not only the first responder, they were the only responder because the freakingPR government was completely inept.

They didn't do a damn thing to help their own people. And when your government doesn't have a clue what they are doing and the state is run Venezuela lite FEMA can only do so much.

What a useless group of politicians in Puerto Rico. Especially the bitch mayor of San Juan.

Republicans go on and on about spoiled food and water that was just sitting there. Trucks were destroyed in the hurricane. There was no gas. Truck drivers went home to help their families who were devastated and lost their houses. And Republicans once again those f.......b........ want to blame the people of Puerto Rico.
Republicans have no empathy no understanding no heart no soul. What happened to these people to make them like this?
We have the largest military in the world and yet they weren’t able to help people that were devastated by a hurricane? That’s not the military that I was part of. This is the military of the new commander in chief. One worthless POS.

imagine delivering food and water to hurricane victims in NOLA after the flooding - now imagine people on an island in the middle of the ocean and getting drinking water to them

The US rebuilt the entire PR electrical grid, that as Trump says, was not functioning before the hurricane.
The US put 20,000 pallets of drinking water on the runway, PR could not get it distributed, its still there
The US put tons of food on the docks of PR, and its still there spoiling.
