When Trump left office we had a fully functioning air base that was easily defensible at Bagrum yet for some reason Joe Biden, the master tactician, decided to close THAT base and conduct a huge evacuation from an airport in Kabul that was not defensible! 13 American service men and women were murdered because of that decision and dozens more had injuries that they will have to live with for the rest of their lives! That's bad enough...but Joe Biden didn't have enough class to call each and every one of the families of those dead and injured soldiers and offer his condolences. Those staffers had a verbal and physical confrontation with a cemetery official who tried to stop them from taking photos and videos in Section 60, a restricted area where many casualties of Iraq and Afghanistan are buried. The issue is NOT that a fired ex-president was invited, or even that the families themselves took photos of their loved one's grave, or themselves there mourning the loss.

The issue....as has been abundantly articulated.....IS that there is to be no political campaign photos or promotion. And that.....the Trump people were thoroughly briefed on the rules, regulations, and strictures about photos and campaigning, most especially in the sensitive area of the recent KIA's.

Trump and his people ignored those protocols. Ignored them to the point of muscling a female military veteran who serves as a cemetery staffer. Muscled her out of the way so they COULD get the campaign photos they were expressly informed were disallowed.

And those photos then were promptly put up on the Trump campaign broadcasts.

Trump and his enablers violated the sanctity of that space for the sole reason to get campaign photo ops so to embarrass the Biden administration.

Notably, for the American soldiers killed during Trump's tenure in office.....he made no attempt to put flowers on THEIR graves. WTH?
