Skye, for the past couple of years, Ms. Pelosi has been exhibiting behavior consistent with delusions of grandeur. It's all over but the lawsuits.
WHY?
Why is he so chummy with Vladimir Putin, this man who is a former K.G.B. agent, never been a friend to the United States, invaded our allies, threatens us around the world and tries his damnedest to undermine our elections?” Senator Richard J. Durbin, Democrat of Illinois, said on ABC’s “This Week.” “Why is this President Trump’s best buddy? I don’t get it.”

Mr. Trump went so far as to take the notes from the interpreter who worked with him during a private meeting with Mr. Putin at the 2017 Group of 20 meeting in Hamburg, Germany.
Globalism and Sovereign nation differences. Western Europe is for globalism and world government. Russia is for a sovereign nation Globalists gifted them communism. Between the worse of communist doctrine and WW2 50 million people died. It was fun for them. Putin a former communist KGB agent knows this. Even if corrupted because Russia is wild wild west that will take another generation or so to heal.

And where in the hell does she think she's gonna land with a United States Military escort waiting to bring her back to face her adult responsibilities? Or is she leavin' dodge because of her propensity to lie her ass off about every little thing?

We have a petty, infantile, dangerous man as "president."

Nancy Pelosi is the puerile one, sir. President Trump is not going to let Congress take over State Department duties. That's his job by way of the Constitution of the United States.

What Pelosi is doing is running away. She's a damn coward and she doesn't want to face the music until she has her nails done. her gig is up.

OMG. This is one of the most hysterical moves I have ever witnessed but a smack down baby.

I am happy happy happy. Unreal. God bless President Trump. Told the bitch to fly commercial.

maxresdefault.jpg
Huge violation of security proceedure.

These trips are never ever announced before that take place and most of the time we don't mind it about them until they are over and the VIPs are safely in the air on the way home.

National security is not tRump's forte.
Bitch better stop playing her games then.
Wrong.

Bitch better stop playing his.
Or What...............Pelosi and Schumer are going to say NO again. Really
:abgg2q.jpg:
You do realize this thing is all tRumps fault don't you? There was a bill on his desk that he had promised to sign until Anne Coulter and Rush Limbaugh called him a coward or some shit. You do realize that the new Democratic house has passed spending bills that are identical to the ones the republican house and senate signed off in already right? You do realize the tRump is the one who stormed out of the meeting like a spoiled teenager right? And that he's the one who said he was "proud to shut the government down" and that it could last "months or years" right?

These things are all facts, whether you like it or not.

Knowing these facts how can you honestly blame anyone but tRump for this shutdown?
Didn't include the funding.........that's the point.

In chess we call this moving the rook to the opponents second rank.

Trump denies Pelosi aircraft for foreign trip in response to call for State of the Union delay

President Trump on Thursday appeared to deny military aircraft to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for an upcoming foreign trip, in response to her call to delay the State of the Union address amid the government shutdown.

In a stinging and curt letter, Trump said her trip has been “postponed.”

He wrote: “Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed. We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over. In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event is totally appropriate. I also feel that, during this period, it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me and joining the Strong Border Security movement to end the Shutdown. Obviously, if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative.”

Trump denying Pelosi use of military transport is a weak move.

It's nothing in comparison to Pelosi denying Trump his his State of the Union address. Trump does not get his moment in the sun this year. He must be PISSED!

Nancy CANNOT deny his State of the Union speech. Read your Constitution, dumbass!

You apparently have your very own private Constitution, because U.S. Constitution says no such thing.

The U.S. Constitution requires the President to report on the State of the Union to Congress, but does not specify how. For more than a hundred years Presidents reported in writing only. It's only been since the 20th century that Presidents have been INVITED to a joint session of Congress to deliver the State of the Union as a speech.

Try reading the U.S. Constitution.

MORON!

Here's a deal: if you want to go back to a written SOTU like a hundred years ago, let's go back to the 1913 Federal income tax rate table adjusted for inflation.

~~~~~~
That would be fine, except I don't believe Democrats especially those infiltrated Marxist Socialist Globalists would like that.
But it did. It included the funding he agreed to, that he asked for, on the bill he said he would sign until insHannity called him a coward.
TrogloRD, do you think Pelosi, now that the world knows she is the one keeping the government shut down, that she might lighten up on her intransigence in dealing with the executive branch?
I don't really care what she does at the point. I am more in line to thinking that McConnel needs to be sent packing yesterday. McConnel has brought congress to a screeching halt. He won't allow bills to be presented to the Senate to be voted on unless his Daddy, the Trumpster okays it. That means we have two branches of the Government that just as well go home, the Congress and the President. Guess the Supreme Court may have to intervene on this one. It's not their job but they will do it if necessary. They have in the past.
I may be right of the rightest person here, Daryl, but the VA hospitals taking care of our vets from the Vietnam and combined middle east conflicts are close to seeing their health care evaporate if Ms. Pelosi does not knock off the prioritizing of killing off the character of President Trump over 800,000 government workers who work to benefit the American people. If she fails to take her responsibilities seriously, our vets are again on the frontline, as some of their medical problems acquired on the field of battle require intensive care and follow up to this day.
As right as I am, I speak in behalf of the vets who gave it all up if they had to but somehow survived--they do not need interruptions in any way shape or form inflicted on them by actual war between the Congress v everyone else they're constantly pillorying to death.
I'm sorry if Ms. Pelosi's Jimmy Choo Reginas got wrinkled in her delayed baggage, but she needs to grow up and take her House Speaker's job as service to the people of the United States and not exclusively for the benefit of the rogue press.
She may not do that unless the American people unite and let her know her puerile behavior toward the tasks ahead of getting our government going again is not appreciated.
Not a very good argument since the VA is fully funded and none of it's is closed down. You can try and use the sympothy card if you want but pick a different subject for it.
It boils down that we don't have a working Government right now. Congress is frozen as long as they can't vote on the floor for anything that Trump doesn't pre approve. That isn't the way it's supposed to work. So because of McConnel, Congress comes to a screeching halt. The President shut down most of what is under him. There goes that other part of the Government. The ONLY part that is still working is the Supreme Court and we probably need to get this in front of them since the other two branches are completely out of commission.
Congress is supposed to create bills. Even bills that the President doesn't like. They send that bill to his desk and he either signs it or vetoes it. If he vetoes it then it goes back to the Senate and the House and they have the option to change it so it can pass or do an over ride veto proof bill. That is the way it's supposed to work. It's not working that way and the whole damned Government save the Supreme Court is frozen. Right now, that's McConnels doing. He's playing Trumpest Politics by essentially shutting down congress. You can blame the Dems all you want but no bills will get passed until this impasse is taken care of. Our Congress is broken.
The other day when I checked 4% of it was closed down. The site I was reading was saying that with each passing week, more and more people would lose their jobs. So you can taunt me all you want, but I'm here to tell you I don't like ANYTHING cut from our vets. They deserve A+ from this nation, and not A- because they gave A+, and I'm such a stickler on our vets I am not backing down. My family has a long history of our men going to war and coming home with medals of valor of all kinds. All our WWII family members are gone, One of the Vietnam members is gone, and one is unaccounted for because his regiment was that one that had trouble in Cambodia because nobody came back to get them out of there. When he finally did find his way back, he was shocked at the country he came back to, and he took no comfort from our family who loved him to pieces. That's why I don't think second best is good enough. My cousin knew it when he got back to this Jane-Fonda-loving hellhole he never dreamt was possible. These guys put every hair on their head on the line to win a war, and I don'[t give a damn who doesn't want them to settle for A- when they earned A+. Period.
The only hope this nation has it poops on, and the DNC makes certain it smells worse for vets than anybody else who'd never do what our men did in Viet Nam and other wars we've waged to ensure another 9/11 never happens on this soil again.
Short version, I agree that we disagree with only one exception: I'm totally and 100% right.
You missed something. Congress is supposed to present bills to the President who can sign it into law OR veto it. Then it goes back to the Senate and House and they can elect to make it where the president will sign it or they can vote on it again and make it veto proof. That system is broken due to McConnel, more or less, completely shutting down Congress. He won't allow the laws to go onto the senate floor to be voted on or even filibustered. He will ONLY if his Master, the Trumpster has pre approved it. That means 2/3s of our Federal Government is broken. And the sooner we get this in front of the one branch that still works, Supreme Court, the better off we all will be.
BTW, I use the VA myself and have very few complaints and can use it on a daily basis. The shutdown isn't causing any VA people to be cut. It's funded.
