The Trump administration says 1,800 children were reunited with their families

(SAN DIEGO) — The Trump administration said Thursday that more than 1,800 children separated at the U.S.-Mexico border have been reunited with parents and sponsors but hundreds remain apart, signaling a potentially long wait for anguished families.


The federal government was under a Thursday deadline to reunify more than 2,500 children separated from their parents under a new immigration policy designed to deter immigrants from coming here illegally. The policy quickly backfired amid global outrage from political and religious leaders and daily headlines about crying children taken from their parents.

President Donald Trump ended the practice, but a federal judge in San Diego ordered the government to reunite all the families by the end of Thursday, but the efforts will continue. U.S. District Judge Dana Sabraw has indicated some leeway given the enormity of the task.

"Reunite" them back in their home country! The biggest fraud emerging now is the ACLU lawyering up for these kids!... Apparently they are helpless vulnerable children; "ripped" away, "kidnapped" from, "tortured", "caged" children. they, after all, are a PART OF A FAMILY UNIT... Now, all of a sudden, the ACLU is contending, via the courts, that these helpless vulnerable children (indelibly linked to their "parents") have sprouted their own independent (NON dependent, legal claim status) for a Federal claim. ??? O, & yes they have morphed into becoming independent of their legal guardian on a whim... On 2nd. thought, makes perfect sense, as some progressives are fighting for toddlers / jr. high students to "declare their "perceived sexuality" before they grow 'pubes'... Hate to break it to you libs, Just like Sodom & Gomorrah, we WILL come full circle, eventually!
