US Election 2016: Donald Trump softens stance on Muslim ban - BBC News

"Responding to remarks by London Mayor Sadiq Khan, Mr Trump told Fox News Radio the ban was "just a suggestion"."

So, Trump says "ban all Muslims", now Trump says "it was just a suggestion".

Trump said women who have abortions should be punished, then said it was just a suggestion.

Trump abortion row: Republican front-runner changes stance - BBC News

Isn't this the sort of DECISIVE leader you want running your country? A guy who flip-flops more than a flag in the wind?

Does he have any policies at all? Or just suggestions? A suggestion basically being when someone tells him it's not a good idea he gets rid of it for another "suggestion" and when someone tells him that's a bad idea he goes back to his previous "suggestion" and on and on.

Trump is clearly wrong on the issues.

The only thing more ridiculous than his ‘policy positions’ is how often he flip-flops on those ‘policy positions.’

Trump is a bigot, a con man, and has no understanding whatsoever as to what constitutes sound, responsible governance.

It’s as if a 12-year-old is running for the GOP nomination.

Trump thinks foreign policies are "deals" and he wants to be the winner in the deal. He doesn't know and can't even contemplate the possibility that he might have to subsume his ego for the good of the nation. He doesn't see the big picture but only the immediate personal gratification for himself. Hence, the constant putting down of women in general and in particular. He should be trying to win the majority of voters but can't control his own impulses long enough to do it.

Luckily for us, that isn't something we'll have to worry about. There just aren't enough really stupid people in this country to get him elected.

Meanwhile, 70,057 posts later, we are still waiting for just one of them to make just a teeny, weeny, little bit of sense.

Any bets for how long before he backs down, flip flops about The Wall?

Will his wishy washy lack of a backbone affect his popularity among the brainless? Or will RWNJs continue to twist themselves into pretzels in order to vote against their own, their family's and the country's best interests?

LMAO

The GOP base says he's evolving. What they mean is that when he says a position they agree with, they don't hear any other after that no matter what Trump says. That way, they all agree on everything.

Right or wrong is a matter of opinion when it comes to t his sort of thing. Just because you don't agree, doesn't make someone wrong.

The funniest part of this Trump capitulation to the GOP establishment is that it comes only days after Sarah Palin was out and about in her patented hysterical manner screeching about how Paul Ryan was finished.

Well..... there might be.

There were enough to elect Bush Dubya twice.

Trump has realized if you say both sides, and then also have the fall back of "it's just a suggestion", that apparently everyone is happy.

So easy to attack though. In a debate with Hillary, she's just going to ask him what his position is, and then when he says it, she'll ask "is this a policy or just a suggestion", every time, Trump will look stupid, and Clinton probably won't do it and look even more stupid.

The point being that many people in the US are stupid enough to think the President runs the USA. So when Trump says "I'll do this", people think he can actually do it.

He'll probably make a wall around a casino or something. Then photoshop it with a load of mexicans raping cats on one side, and Trump's hair on the other.
