So a Democrat Secretary of the Navy wouldn't have had a problem with Navy SEAL Gallagher's pardon?

A truly smart one would have realized that If he disobeys the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and doesn't get fired for it, nobody else in the armed forces will obey their orders.

The left will try to do their typical semantic twist and spin over that point but ultimately, the President had no choice but to assert his authority. Given the world situation, this is not the best time for the President to appear weak to the rest of the world.

At this point..you are correct. The SecNav knew this..he fell on his sword..now he's a martyr. But it didn't have to get to this point....Trump should let the military take care of itself...his intervention has made a crisis..when there did not have to be one.

Uh....yeah....no, it's not one instance but if that's what helps you turn the other cheek that's on you. Anyone who is coherent and is working off of half a brain can see how our independent agencies have been gutted and replaced with yes-men and gophers.

This is a little different because the dude did go out of the chain of command. Sadly he was forced to because the President stuck his nose into a process that other President's understood was sacred in order to maintain morale and order.
