The notice says the Trump Foundation has not registered with the state of New York for 2016, and has been soliciting donations in New York. The Foundation must therefore register and file financial reports.

If the Foundation has been operating in New York in years other than 2016, it must also file financial reports for those years.


The failure to do so will constitute fraud.
