Trump is undeniably a political genius, with so much against him he won the election. His genius to his ability to read the mood of the country and develop a series of issues that would appeal to a large minority of the electorate. He was absolutely unabashed in his and his single-minded pursuit of their votes. He is willing to lie them and scare them. He is willing to divide his followers from his detractors. He is willing to belittle and cow his opponents in a way never done before.

But...being a great politician does not mean he is a great president. Jimmy Carter came from obscurity to win the presidency because he ran a great campaign. I don't think anyone believes he was a great president.

I think Trump's legacy will be American international isolationism, national division, and environmental degradation. Great politician (not a complement) but one of our worst presidents.

If Trump was a "political genius" then he would have ALREADY had his 'wall' & Mexico would have already 'paid' for the wall.

Instead, the nation is going through fvcking chaos, Trump is loosing Republican support for his wall demands, and Trump is resorting to 'threats' of utilizing an emergency directive to get his way AFA the 'wall' is concerned.
