Wyoming could have been blue.I mean the electoral votes:Doesn´t have a smaller state lesser votes? And given your are right, isn´t that accidentally?Except for the vote thingy you are right. All votes go to a candidate in a state, that can benefit both candidates.
The Republicans have, by far, an advantage in the electoral college. Why? Because there are far more smaller states that are hardcore Republicans than Democrat.
Er... I don't understand what you've written.

We see, the most densely populated states are blue, they have more votes. Would the absolute number of votes count, these few states would have decided for the many other ones. And again, how close the election in a state ends is a matter of accident after all.
Do you know how electoral college votes are handed out?
They're based on the number of seats a state gets for the House, which is based proportionally, and added to this is the number of Senate seats.
So, Wyoming has 1 House seat. Why? Because it has half a million people. California has 53 House seats because it has 40 million people. Even then it's not fair, simply because Wyoming can't have half seats.
Then you add on the senate seats and a person from Wyoming has a vote that is worth THREE TIMES what the vote of a person in California has. Fair? No way.
