Trump Leveraging Ukraine Military Aid For Dirt On Joe Biden

No! What Trump did was perfectly LEGAL - unless you want the Ukrainians hacking our democracy

They never hacked our democracy, that was Russia and the Tramp admin, working together.

They did not work together. This was investigated. Deal with the results.

The president of Ukraine owns Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is owned by Russia on one side and now he is owned by Ukraine on the other.

If Biden wants to be President, he needs to get used to investigations of both he and his family members, and anyone he has associated with over the years.

Personally, I think Ukraine should investigate the whole family. And if they ask President Trump to extradite them, I think he should. Biden deserves a chance to face justice on these charges, no?

You realize of course that the Ukrainian President is coming to Washington next week, and that the Congress Leaders can meet with him directly and get his version of events. That's precisely WHY Trump reinstated the aid. Failure to give the promised aid to the Ukrainians would have exposed his extortion...
Say who? WaPo is reporting that the secret source says there was no quid pro quo. Except for Biden of course, Biden bragged that he, with Obama's baclking threatened to withhold a Billion US taxpayer olloars unless they fired the prosecutor who was investigating Hunter Biden, and they fired him. Are you claiming that Biden and Obama committed a crime? Impeachable offenses?
... the Russia investigation...
That was a sham cooked up by Hillary and Obama partisans in the DOJ and IC.
... The American people do NOT want foreign leaders investigating American political rivals of the sitting American President...
What Biden brags about sounds to me like it's worth an investigation, why wouldn't we cooperate?

From April 2019:

Two years after leaving office, Joe Biden couldn't resist the temptation last year to brag to an audience of foreign policy specialists about the time as vice president that he strong-armed Ukraine into firing its top prosecutor.

In his own words, with video cameras rolling, Biden described how he threatened Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in March 2016 that the Obama administration would pull $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees, sending the former Soviet republic toward insolvency, if it didnā€™t immediately fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.

ā€œI said, ā€˜Youā€™re not getting the billion.ā€™ Iā€™m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ā€˜Iā€™m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, youā€™re not getting the money,ā€™ā€ Biden recalled telling Poroshenko.

ā€œWell, son of a bitch, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time,ā€ Biden told the Council on Foreign Relations event, insisting that President Obama was in on the threat.

Interviews with a half-dozen senior Ukrainian officials confirm Bidenā€™s account, though they claim the pressure was applied over several months in late 2015 and early 2016, not just six hours of one dramatic day. Whatever the case, Poroshenko and Ukraineā€™s parliament obliged by ending Shokinā€™s tenure as prosecutor. Shokin was facing steep criticism in Ukraine, and among some U.S. officials, for not bringing enough corruption prosecutions when he was fired.

The prosecutor he got fired was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into the natural gas firm Burisma Holdings that employed Bidenā€™s younger son, Hunter, as a board member.

Ukranian officials began looking into why this investigation was shut down, and offered information to US Attorney General Bill Barr.

[A]s Biden's 2020 campaign ramped up over the past year, Lutsenko ā€” the Ukrainian prosecutor that Biden once hailed as a "solid" replacement for Shokin -- began looking into what happened with the Burisma case that had been shut down...

Lutsenko said some of the evidence he knows about in the Burisma case may interest U.S. authorities and he'd like to present that information to new U.S. Attorney General William Barr, particularly the vice presidentā€™s intervention.

"Unfortunately, Mr. Biden had correlated and connected this aid with some of the HR (personnel) issues and changes in the prosecutor's office," Lutsenko said.

Ukraine did in fact re-open the case -- without any bidding by Trump.
... here are good and valid reasons why Trump attempting to extort the Ukrainian government for his own political gain, is an impeachable offence....
It's an impeachable offense against... Trump?!?!!

Trump urged the Ukranians to look into a case of official corruption and unethical exertion of political pressure openly boasted of by Joe Biden himself and the guy who needs investigating is... Trump?!!?

By the way: the Deep State source who illegally leaked this to the media (of course) doesn't even allege there was any quid pro quo -- just what xhe claims was an improper "urging" of action.

Trump wants an investigation as to whether JOE BIDEN intervened with the government of the Ukraine to end the investigation of Hunter Biden.

Trump cancelled the defence aid to the Ukraine after the President refused to investigate Joe Biden, and then re-instated the aid when Congress got wind of his requests to the Ukraine, but the whistle blower has direct knowledge of the phone call, and Congress should be told too.

Biden Used U.S. Aid as Weapon to Force Ukraine to Fire Prosecutor Looking Into His Sonā€™s Business.

MORE:

Screen-Shot-2019-09-20-at-9.08.14-PM.png

Joe Biden recently admitted he used his position as vice president to get an investigation squashed that had been launched into his sonā€™s crooked business.

One of the things liberals say that makes Joe Biden qualified to become president is that he has foreign policy experience, but one of Uncle Joeā€™s stories about that experience is getting another look because it appears that Biden admitted using U.S. foreign aid as a weapon to stop an investigation into his sonā€™s shady business dealings.

Biden himself seemed to have confirmed that he used his position as vice president to force the Ukrainian government to fire a prosecutor who was looking into son Hunter Bidenā€™s business.

Biden forced Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who was going to investigate the corrupt oligarch his son Hunter worked for by threatening to withhold $1B. Biden brags about it on video

Trump has every right to ask a foreign leader to investigate corrupt actions of a former US VP

It would be wrong to let Biden slide because he is running for office again. His abuse of power previously is a matter that deserves investigation regardlesshttps://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/09/world/europe/corruption-ukraine-joe-biden-son-hunter-biden-ties.html ā€¦

But but but...an opinion piece in the WSJ stated there was no quid pro quo in the phone call. So all trump has to do is release the transcript and/or clear the DNI to cooperate with Congress.

I wonder why he hasn't?

What plot? Its simple "oppo research"? Like Hillary did with the "Steele Dossier". Not a problem like the dems have been saying all along...
I don't think it would be simple opposition research if it was understood to be a quid pro quo, for personal benefit of Trump in an upcoming election, who is an elected government official, using or holding back directly or indirectly, a government action approved by congress, so to get the foreign entity to do this personal action for such gvt elected official....

18 U.S. Code Ā§ 201 - Bribery of public officials and witnesses

but we do NOT know at this point, if any of this happened.... there is speculation, and unsourced leaks etc....

The president and the DNI needs to stop breaking the law, allow the whistle blower's complaint go to the Intel committees as the law states... then the check on this would take place.

The Trump administrations hand picked Inspector General, stated that the whistle blower's complaint is a valid complaint, and said it was an URGENT National security RISK..... those type of whistle blower complaints SHALL go to congress, as per the law, for them to know about.... as it should be.

We do not know for certain if the whistle blower complaint was really about a "beautiful" phone conversation between Trump and the Ukraine president... that is just leaked sourcing.

but if the president really has nothing to hide, the whistle blower complaint, won't be any kind of problem for him.

the IG said this was URGENT and this stonewalling of the admin could HARM our nation, when it is labeled URGENT.... they need to send it to congress, as the law REQUIRES.
