This is more significant than anything Obama or Hillary have said. Obama only claimed to 'evolve' after being pressured. Hillary only changed her stance when it was politically advantageous to do so.
Trump made this promise on his own even though, according to the left, it would hurt a Republican candidate. What that tells us is that he means it. He doesn't give a shit what others think. No one owns him but the American people.
“As president, I will do everything in my power to protect LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology,” Trump told the crowd to thunderous applause. “And, I have to say, as a Republican, it is so nice to hear you cheering for what I just said.”
