It was actually the CDC that screwed up, not the administration. The CDC decided not to use WHO test kits and devised its own, which had glitches and that delayed testing, making it difficult to monitor the spread of the virus. Now the CDC believes it has solved the problem, but we'll have to wait and see.

Not enough test kits.
Not enough masks.
No planning for providing additional hospital beds.
Lack of training for response personnel.
Experts in the field of virus control were fired.
Funding for response agencies was cut.
The admin downplayed the risk.

More than 50 residents and staff were reportedly ill with symptoms. Very usual at a senior care center. Authorities are worried that 17 nursing students and four faculty members from the Lake Washington Institute of Technology are not sick.

In reporting what Trump has to say, the news media has a huge responsibility not to repeat and amplify his misleading spin — a spin that may serve his political interests but is not in the public interest.

It’s not always easy, though, for mainstream journalists to put his claims in the proper context.

Thank you for supporting the President. Your post is a fine example fo how the MSM is misleading the public about the virus and how Democrats see it only as a political opportunity to attack the President with no apparent concern for the well being of the public. The data so far suggests the coronavirus is comparable to the seasonal flu and while it is desirable to avoid both, there is no reason for panic. According to WHO it is not a pandemic. This is clearly a case when the public would be better off getting their news from the government rather than the MSM.
