A pretty odd dichotomy that OTOH, everyone wanted Trump to try to do something about the crowd at the Capitol, yet adamantly refused to just take him there which had they dome so, it is very likely there never would have been any riot or break-in because the crowd would have been focused on Trump instead of Ray Epps.
3. The assumption is entirely baseless and unproven that even had Trump issued some sort of tweet (which he eventually did anyway) that people in the midst of fighting with the police and being shot at would have known, noticed, cared or would have listened to Trump when no likewise message was going out to the police.

You should check the polls: all this concern over a justified two-hour protest at the Capitol two years ago amidst the THOUSANDS of riots being sponsored for BLM and Antifa by the democrat party counts for about 1% of the voters thinking this is any important concern of theirs at all. Most intelligent people realize it was all over an egregiously badly handled election that was so whacked out with exceptions, illegal actions and still badly unanswered questions to explain so improbable an outcome that they aren't at all surprised a lot of people demanded answers, that day and ever since.
