There's a very good chance this is going to be a mistrial....a hung jury.
In which case we all get to start over and do it all again over the late summer/early fall.
Worst case scenario is he becomes a convicted felon but still only gets a slap on the wrist or even a short prison stint that will only represent a tiny fraction of the 136 year max he could have gotten.
Either way he's going to be the beneficiary of a two-tiered justice system that really never has "persecuted" or in any way "victimized" him....but in actuality has done nothing but coddled and favored him and treated him with kid gloves.

It's better for the prospect of world peace if Trump is found innocent.

It's a valid question to ask if America's future will depend on Trump winning and subsequence odds of him becoming the president.

The next step is the DA's office deciding if it is worth retrying the case or not. As I said, the previous DA didn't even want to bring the case in the first place. If they don't get a guilty verdict, it's over. They will not want to go through it all over again, no matter how much TDS they have.

There is such an elevated state of emotions over the outcome, that the more important question is on what will take place if Trump is convicted??

A 'not guilty' verdict can almost be guaranteed to be arranged by following the judges directions, as that pertains to the good of the country and the avoidance of a political gun fight between the two sides.

The prosecutor decides the possibility of a retrial. They have no reason to destroy Dems chances in November that have already been damaged. Retrying Trump again after losing their attempt will push Trump's popularity even higher!
