Two trends that must be terrifying for the Democrat party.

Offering a solution means that a problem must have that need. There is no problem with most of us on who has what. I don't care what somebody else makes. It's none of my business and it's none of yours. Worry about what you make--not what other people make.
What today's conservatives don't (or refuse to) see is that wealth disparity has a fairly finite shelf life.

As more wealth & influence concentrates itself into a smaller and smaller percentage of the populace, the odds increase that there will be a pushback. It's just human nature, and it sure as hell isn't a tough sell. At some point, the lower strata are going to revolt, and that will manifest at the ballot box. A Libertarian laissez faire approach to wealth makes sense theoretically, but not in real life. Ultimately, people will revolt.

Another thing that today's conservatives don't (or refuse to) see is that, within a capitalist system, there will always be people who have a lesser capacity to create wealth. There will always be people who are simply built to work within it at a higher level. Okay, great. But the issue I point out above, remains.

Remember how fired up the Regressive Left got the Trump base, the role they played in helping him get elected by calling you stupid deplorables? Well, that backfired on them in 2016, didn't it? Calling people lazy freeloaders has pretty much the same effect in the opposite direction. So it's up to you.
,

I'm not worried too much because the lazy freeloaders never voted Republican in the first place. Lazy freeloaders are Democrats.

The deplorable remark insulted a much wider group of people. For instance, if a female was planning to vote for Hillary because she wanted to see the first female President, but agreed with Trump on many issues, Hillary basically insulted her. Or perhaps people who were on the fence and unsure of who they were going to vote for. Hillary made that decision easy for them.

So here is the way our society works:

People produce goods and services. They sell those goods and services for a profit. When somebody expands their services into let's say a franchise, or has such a good product everybody wants what that producer is making, the producers become the wealthy.

If people revolted, what would they be revolting for? As I pointed out to Joe, the wealthy didn't come in our home when we were working and take our money, we freely gave it to them; we gave it to them in exchange for a product or service we desired to have.

I'm happy to give the one percent my money. Why? Because look at all the things the one-percent create to make my life easier in exchange for my money. I love this internet. I love my Apple computer in spite of it's age. I love my 80" television set and the remote start on my car. I love my cell phone and it's ability to keep me connected to the internet while I'm away from home. I love my lawn tractor that I'll be using next week sometime. I love stopping at McDonald's for breakfast on the weekends. I love the joys of what the one-percent bring to me.

Why would I revolt? Who would I be protesting against, myself? I helped make and maintain the one-percent.
You are a perfect chump of the greedy idiot Mega Rich GOP. Reagan ism only works with huge debts and defense spending. The 1% are so bloated now it's ridiculous. And all they produce is minimum wage life is impossible crap jobs. The country is is dying 4 a Giant Non rich tax cut, a big hike on the rich, and investment in America. You are an idiot.

And you are a commie Socialist.
I am a socialist... Always Democratic Fair capitalism with a good safety net like every other successful country. You dupes think socialism is communism. Communism means dictatorship that owns everything. You are a brainwashed functional moron. Why don't you throw in fascist 2 like most dupe idiots... Well at least you're in the rich white party, doofus.

At least you admit to being a socialist. I don't know why you don't move to one of your utopias instead of living in a capitalist society like we have here. But I'll give you credit. The Democrats have even shunned the word "liberal" in exchange for "progressive" after liberal began to have negative connotations.

The GOP hate character assassination propaganda is so strong liberal became a swear word. More total BS from the GOP.

Fair capitalism is higher pay for workers and higher taxes for billionaires at Giant corporations that we have now. Etc etc Health Care daycare good vacations paid parental leave cheap University and training programs like every other good country. Dupe LOL. You don't no what Fair capitalism is but do no everything about imaginary Hillary scandals.

Fair capitalism is higher pay for workers and higher taxes for billionaires at Giant corporations that we have now.

So another words, wealth redistribution. Taking from the "haves" and giving it to the "have nots." You believe in a government forcing capitalism to do this. Yet, your quote from above:

Communism means dictatorship that owns everything.

So if government runs businesses for them, what is the difference between owning everything and running everything?

The government does not run businesses in this country. We have extremely bloated rich class and Big Oil big Pharma Etc. Thank you GOP and silly Dupes

Sadly, Stormy Mac thinks that that is what Hillary actually said, when in fact, she was talking about THIS GUY.

upload_2018-5-5_5-48-1.jpeg

Come on, Stormy Mac, all he needs is a hug!!!

If you look at her comments in context, she really did try to address the plight of stupid people like Ray who work shitty jobs and take it up the ass from the One Percent.

The problem with people like Ray is that they are happy taking it up the ass, as long as they are ahead of the darkies.

I'm happy to give the one percent my money. Why? Because look at all the things the one-percent create to make my life easier in exchange for my money.

Yup, shitty job, no health insurance... the one percent have done you a real favor.

I love this internet.

Uh, you realize the Internet was started by the government, right? Oh, wait, you probably don't. But yeah, I can see why you like the internet, it gives you a place to spew your racist hate all day without being called down to human resources.

I could find all kinds of jobs. It's just that the government won't let me take 99% of them. That's my fault?

Um, yeah, it kind of is... hey, try looking someone else other than "Dead Hooker List" for a job. That's not where they advertise the good jobs. Find a resume writer who can explain your experience well... Get additional training so you can do other things.

Why should all jobs pay a living wage if you are not going to buy what they are making? That's kind of stupid thinking, even for a liberal.

Again, guy,, we could pay a living wage to everyone simply by paying the One Percent less.

Problem fucking solved.

The tariffs and tax cuts had nothing to do with each other.

So how much are you losing today since the "rich" got their tax cuts?

uh, guy, who do you think is going to be paying those tariffs? It will be working people who will pay more for cars and beer cans.

You are stupid, aren't you?

That's the problem, it's a good house just like mine. Of course I object to supporting myself and them too. If government wants me to give them housing, let it be in lower income areas instead of the suburbs. I strongly object to that. HUD targets areas for destruction and moves in full force to do just that. Wait until they target your area. Then you'll see.

Guy, I've been to Cleveland, it's a shithole that has nothing to do with government. The one Percent kicked you to the curb like a $10.00 whore, and you whine about it.

The history of the Internet begins with the development of electronic computers in the 1950s. Initial concepts of wide area networking originated in several computer science laboratories in the United States, United Kingdom, and France.[1] The US Department of Defense awarded contracts as early as the 1960s, including for the development of the ARPANET project, directed by Robert Taylor and managed by Lawrence Roberts. The first message was sent over the ARPANET in 1969 from computer science Professor Leonard Kleinrock's laboratory at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) to the second network node at Stanford Research Institute (SRI).

I'm 58 years old, WTF kind of training could I get where I would enter a new workforce at the age of 59 or 60 as a rookie and make a living wage?

If not for that big-eared commie, I wouldn't need to be looking for another job.

Again, guy,, we could pay a living wage to everyone simply by paying the One Percent less.

Problem fucking solved.

Yes, if by "we" you mean a government takeover of businesses which would delight your commie ass to the extreme. But as long as we are still a free country, we allow companies to decide wages from their floor sweepers to their CEO's.

uh, guy, who do you think is going to be paying those tariffs? It will be working people who will pay more for cars and beer cans.

You are stupid, aren't you?

Those tariffs could also pressure people into buying American made products since foreign competition would be closer to ours. All you people do is whine how the worker doesn't get paid enough. Well.......if the worker got paid enough, where do you think that money would come from? That's right, it would be included in the price of the product or service just like tariffs.

Guy, I've been to Cleveland, it's a shithole that has nothing to do with government. The one Percent kicked you to the curb like a $10.00 whore, and you whine about it.

Yeah, you were in Cleveland. You sat in a hotel downtown and looked out of the window. I'm sure I can find sections like that in Chicago as well. You never went into the suburbs, went to the gold coast, went to the flats. You just sat in a hotel room looking at the result of Democrat leadership for the past few decades.

If not for that big-eared commie, I wouldn't need to be looking for another job.

Actually, you should have been anticipating this day a long time ago.. Heck, it's been 8 years since the ACA passed. Again, man, you have all sorts of excuses for not picking yourself up and doing for yourself and blaming others.

I've had some setbacks, usually someone with more money and power fucking me over for the fun of it, but it never, ever has stopped me. Nothing does.

Those tariffs could also pressure people into buying American made products since foreign competition would be closer to ours.

No, it wouldn't. In fact, if anything, it would encourage manufacturers in this country to raise their prices, as they know what the competitors would be set at. What's needed is massive investment in infrastructure, education and processes... that's what will make us competitive.

A tariff is a defacto admission that we can't compete.

Guy, I was downtown right across the street from the ballpark where the Indians play... No, the whole town was pretty much shit. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

So...um, what I said... Okay. Reading comprehension isn't your strong point

Maybe it's not yours. The government only gave the money for the start of the internet, they didn't invent it.

Actually, you should have been anticipating this day a long time ago.. Heck, it's been 8 years since the ACA passed. Again, man, you have all sorts of excuses for not picking yourself up and doing for yourself and blaming others.

Yet Commie Care didn't go into full swing but a few years ago, and it was only then when my employer dropped it. Plus the fact I was confident the Republicans would be able to do something to stop it, but that didn't transpire.

In spite of it being a total failure, the Democrats are fighting to keep it all the way. They gained more government dependents than ever before, and that was their only goal all along.

But you think it's because Democrats cared so much whether you have healthcare insurance or not. :abgg2q.jpg:
what a sucker.

No, it would give our manufacturers a chance to compete with now higher priced foreign goods. That could mean expansion of businesses, thousands of new jobs, and a more competitive job market for workers. This is all experimental, but it's worth a try.

Guy, I was downtown right across the street from the ballpark where the Indians play... No, the whole town was pretty much shit. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Right, so just as I said, you never ventured out of downtown.

Yet Commie Care didn't go into full swing but a few years ago, and it was only then when my employer dropped it. Plus the fact I was confident the Republicans would be able to do something to stop it, but that didn't transpire.

Wow... really? You are even dumber than I thought, and I think you are pretty fucking stupid.

The Republicans don't want to get rid of ACA. IT'S THEIR FUCKING IDEA!!! They pass these "repeals" to placate you guys, but when the rubber hits the road, their masters in Big Insurance want the ACA.

No, it would give our manufacturers a chance to compete with now higher priced foreign goods. That could mean expansion of businesses, thousands of new jobs, and a more competitive job market for workers. This is all experimental, but it's worth a try.

Again, the reality is, it will never be practical to produce low quality mass produced stuff here. For higher quality stuff, the Japanese and Germans have us beat because their unionized, educated workers are smarter and better trained than ours.

Admitting we can't compete in a fair fight is something the GOP would never do, though.

Right, so just as I said, you never ventured out of downtown.

GUy, your city isn't that big... I had to drive two miles between the hotel and where I was taking the training, and frankly, it was all fucked up... They didn't even bother to take down the signs of the businesses that were out of business.

Wow... really? You are even dumber than I thought, and I think you are pretty fucking stupid.

How is it their idea when every single Republican voted against it? Oh, some commentator at the Heritage Foundation thought of something similar. Yet you can't get it through your rock hard head that the only reason Democrats brought up the Heritage Foundation is because Commie Care was such an utter failure. The Heritage Foundation has nothing to do with our electors or how they voted. This stupidity is like me saying Mother Jones was responsible for tougher abortion laws. It's pure stupidity.

The problem with government programs is once people are on them, it's virtually impossible to get them off. The MSM would be on that night and day if some floor sweeper lost his insurance because of the cancelation of Commie Care. That's why we should never have another new social program again.

And yet you can't figure out why American jobs don't pay better?

Right, so just as I said, you never ventured out of downtown.

GUy, your city isn't that big... I had to drive two miles between the hotel and where I was taking the training, and frankly, it was all fucked up... They didn't even bother to take down the signs of the businesses that were out of business.

A whole two miles, huh? Wow, you seen the entire city then. :21:

How is it their idea when every single Republican voted against it?

They'd have voted against motherhood and apple pie if the black guy proposed it.... that's the problem when you have a racist party... even your own ideas suddenly suck when the black guy agrees with them.

Yup, you live in mortal terror that a floor sweeper might make more than you do for driving a truck in a straight line... when neither job requires all that much skill.

Because, again, the Rich have spent the last 40 years busting unions, outsourcing, creating right to work and using every recession as an excuse to fire people and make them take lower wages.

This has been explained to you multiple times, Fifty First Dates.

You just made a very true statement: the US cannot compete with foreign labor. Congratulations. Now you know why US jobs don't pay better. Now you know how unions chased many of them out of the country.
