UN: More than 9 million Syrians in dire need as winter approaches

It doesn't take a great deal of effort to get the facts about the Syrian civil war. [...]

It takes even less effort to see how opportunists with common interests in the region have seized on historical Islamist divisions to foment internal strife in a country with a relatively good record in terms of security.

True, there are various Muslim sects that hate each other, but it's equally true that there are non-Muslim dirtbags using that truth to mask their own hate-filled and greed-driven activities in Syria.
Oh, puh-leeez...

It is always blame the Jews and/or Israel, even by people who should know better.

Blaming Israel for Christian Persecution

What’s worse than the silence of Western Christians concerning the Muslim persecution of their coreligionists in the Islamic world? Answer: Cynically exploiting that persecution for a political agenda—in the case of a recent Daily Beast article, to excoriate the state of Israel and its supporters.
Titled “Why Won’t the West Defend Middle Eastern Christians?” and written by Diarmaid MacCulloch, a Fellow of St. Cross College, the article touches on the persecution of Christians, but primarily as a springboard to attack American Christian support for Israel. This is well captured by the following excerpt:

… one of the silences which I find most frustrating is precisely the lack of noise from Western Christians about the fate of ancient Christianities in the Middle East. At the heart of the problems in the Middle East is seven decades of unresolved conflict between Israel and Palestine…

Yes, Western silence vis-à-vis the plight of Mideast Christians is as real as it is frustrating, but how, exactly, is MacCulloch able to jump to the conclusion that the Arab-Israeli conflict is “the heart” of the problem?

What is the US doing for the Christians in Palestine?
You want the US to go after hams for imposing ant Christian Shariah law? There aren't that many a Christians left in Gaza anyhow. Which sane person wants to live around Islamic animals?

so? Mr tin's allegations are that the ENTIRE turmoil -----in Syria ----which began long
before OBAMA was OBAMA-------was galvanized by US plotting , PLANNING AND
INITIATIVE

That the US might be interested in aiding forces trying to oust the islamic hero ASSAD----is YOUR BIG ISSUE???? GEE YOU ARE DIM All civilized people in the world
would be happy to see ASSAD down----just as all civilized people in the world would have been
happy to see the islamic heroes Adolf abu ali and Saddam ---down

Syria is a secular country.
Led by a dictator and thug like Sadam, who is in bed with Islamist terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Iran's govt. Actually Assad may be worse than Sadam. He's already killed over 100,000 Syrians by turning the country's military against its own people.

Sibel (what an ironic name for someone like her) is doing what a whole host of internet propagandists are doing nowadays, they make money spewing anti Americanism.

She is not anti American at all.
No...not at all...she thinks the US had a hand in 9-11.

Your type of "American."

There aren't that many left to save. Maybe a handful. The rest have fled. There is no living among Hamas animals. Their ethnic cleansing was successful.

good and bad-----does not exist in a vacuum. It is like
HEISENBERG's uncertainty principle------you cannot know
both the velocity and the position of a particle simultaneously
????????????????????????

can we know if ASSAD is -----good or bad??? whom shall we ask???
can we ask SIMULTANEOUSLY?????

long ago----shortly after Sadaam invaded kuwait------I got TWO
SIMULTANEOUS ---- and whilst the TALIBAN were beginning
to get control of the civilian population of Afghanistan----
POSITIONS

I got them both SIMULTANEOUSLY------sadaam is good and the taliban
is good. simultaneous with reports of atrocities in Kuwait--
and beheadings in Afghanistan I got that SIMULTANEOUS
analysis from----------a sunni from pakistan

for whom UNCERTAINTY was not a problem

As I said, Sibel is a Turkish Muslim American that worked as a translator, who turns into a 9-11 Truther as a way to salvage "the 'good' name of Islam."

Why does it not surprise me that Tinmore is also a 9-11 twooother?

Hamas supporter, 9-11 twoooother, America hater (check Tinmore's sig line if you have any doubts), and of course Jew hater. The makings of a true Palestinian supporter. Ha ha ha.

Anybody who thinks Hamas, a bunch of Islamic terrorist thugs can coexist with Christianity must have a few screws loose.

Palestinian supports always support the worst people like David Duke and the Taliban.

You need to quit the Hossfly imitation. Seriously.

He's one of a kind. It looks silly on you.
Right now, Sally is clocked in to USMB. Me too. Check it out. There's no shenanigans going on. Hossfly can't be duplicated.

Tinmore told me Hamas treats Christians as equal partners, why are they leaving?

The Occupation, dumbass!

Absolutely! The occupation of Gaza by HAM-ASS has had a devastating effect on Christian society there. It is very sad indeed. While they may have gotten in through an election- they haven't acted as a legitimate government for years..... they are no better than any warlord in Somalia.....

Then why aren't the Muslims also leaving, DUMBASS? Instead, they stay and multiply like rodents. But, hey, let's not forget, Israel is not only "occupying" Gaza (without having a single occupying soldier in Gaza), it's also committing GENOCIDE (by causing the Palestinians to multiply even faster than their Arab brethren!) Allah Akbar?! Ha ha ha.
