UnAmerican: Starbucks Pledges To Hire 10k Refugees In Response To Trump's Executive Order

My butt doesn't hurt, does yours? I never liked their coffee.

I don't like coffee period.

However my wife likes their shit, but we don't like their politics. So she rarely indulges in it.

Funny how bed wetters rebuke people who boycott things, yet when it comes to their boycotts libturds will assault people who defy them.
Yep, hypocrisy is in style now it seems. All those high horses had very short legs.

Only idiots buy Starbuck's coffee

True, but if you've ever seen how long the lines are in f'rinstance a hotel convention, you know there's easily enough of those idiots to hire thousands of baristas.

Same thing applies to, y'know.......... SUVs... fast food..... chicken wings.... Viagra.... monster pickup trucks capable of hauling an asteroid.... phones that look up the weather in Bangkok... it's how capitalism works.

I'll be boycotting along with other racially aware Whites. I love my coffee. But not rapeugees. (((schultz))) needs to bankrupted for a history of anti whiteness

This just in ---- "Refugee" is not a race either.

Who knew, right?

So what will all the college graduates with degrees in 18th century feminist studies do when they graduate.....immigrants will have all their jobs....

Reeeeeeally. :eusa_think: ---- so noting the level of butthurt now amounts to "assault" in your world, does it.
SMFH

Sure, and we can spend our money wherever we want.

----- or in your case your brother's money :D

Then why did you wait until now to decide to ask your brother to stop?

See? I run rings around ya logically.
No, would just would rather support a business that doesn't announce they are going to hire refugees instead of citizens or legal immigrants. Call it whatever makes you feel superior.

You do understand that refugees are "legal immigrants", right?

Aren't you guys always complaining that you don't want your tax dollars to support refugees? Now you're complaining that Starbucks is offering them a way to support themselves.

Make up your minds.
So, my DIL immigrated from Hungary legally. She and my son paid a lot of legal fees, She had to have a sponsor so I was hers since my son wasn't working at that time. I was then responsible for her for any medical fees, legal fees, any cost she may have incurred. This is for 10 yrs., or until she becomes a citizen, or works at least at 400 hrs, whichever came first. This is so no US taxpayer has to spend one penny on her. Are you telling me all these refugees have been through this same process and they all have sponsors?

The refugee process is not the same as spousal immigration, which is what I imagine you're referring to.

But yes, "all these" refugees have been through as long and intense of a process - and yes, they all have sponsors.

Usually, the sponsors are church organizations.
That's good, because it sure cost my son and his girlfriend, now wife, a lot of money. It took her awhile to get her green card and she was not allowed to work at that time. I guess the churchs paid all their legal fees and shelter, food and clothing for them. She's been here over 5 yrs. now and would not be able to get any public assistance if she needed it, which she doesn't, but they sure make sure a legal immigrant is not getting any of our taxpayers' dollars.

This story immediately reminded me of this INS deportation scene (starts about 14:15)

Punish them. Don't patronize their stores, and inform them why you stay away.

This also just in: the Starflux customer base is not the sort of element that will be hanging out in Messageboardistan sp rotsa ruck.

Boycotts rarely ever work anyway.

Hey, I already said you won:2up: That clip was hilarious. I loved that show and still catch some of the reruns. They do ask a lot of those questions, I was with them since I was her sponsor and had to answer some questions also. It wasn't as funny as the clip.

"We are living in an unprecedented time, one in which we are witness to the conscience of our country, and the promise of the American Dream, being called into question," CEO Howard Schultz wrote in a letter to Starbucks employees about the plan.

While many customers were immediately supportive of Starbucks' actions on social media, others threatened to boycott after the letter's release.
