Conservatives aren't anti government. We are for limited government.

we believe in due process. That people are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. The incident has been investigated. There is no evidence of wrong doing.

and if there had been evidence of wrong doing it would always be wrong to turn to mob violence. There is no situation where destroying communities would be justified. The evidence would be presented to a jury who would make a determination.

the facts of Ferguson should be making the left uncomfortable. Here's why.

1) it shows racism on the left.
2) it shows the tendency of the left towards violence.
3) it shows a total disregard to personal accountability and respect on the left.
4) it shows the lefts disregard with respect to the law.
5) it shows the lefts lack of respect for life and personal property

so maybe you should worry about your own politics instead of trying to lie about the politics of others

The population of Ferguson is 60% black. The police force is 94% white. That alone says a great deal. The people and the cops do not have a positive, healthy working relationship. It is really the responsibility of the police force to create a good environment, and they clearly have not done so.

funny. I don't think that is the polices responsibility. I think it's one of the duties of citizenship and being an adult to create a good community. The police assist us by investigating and arresting those who commit crimes.

it's a mans duty to take care of his family. To protect them. To love them. To teach them to follow the law. To work to provide for them.

instead we have people like yourself saying it's someone elses responsibility. Is it any wonder that we have the crime problem we do? Or that we have riots in response? If everyone thinks it is someone elses responsibility then no one actually does what needs to be done.

we need to teach the men to step up and be men. Do your duty to yourself, your family, your community, and your God and you will be free.

Limited government for WHOM? Certainly not for the black community who have endured police profiling and heavy handed court systems for generations. When the verdict came down exonerating O.J. Simpson there was two distinct and opposite reactions in America. White were aghast and blacks cheered. NOT because they believed Simpson was innocent, it was because they believed a black man had finally gotten white man justice.

Justice Antonin Scalia, in the 1992 Supreme Court case of United States v. Williams, explained what the role of a grand jury has been for hundreds of years.

It is the grand jury’s function not ‘to enquire … upon what foundation [the charge may be] denied,’ or otherwise to try the suspect’s defenses, but only to examine ‘upon what foundation [the charge] is made’ by the prosecutor. Respublica v. Shaffer, 1 Dall. 236 (O. T. Phila. 1788); see also F. Wharton, Criminal Pleading and Practice § 360, pp. 248-249 (8th ed. 1880).
