A water temperature buoy, MNBF1 located in the waters of Manatee Bay at the Everglades National Park NW of Key Largo recorded a high temperature of 101.7 late on Monday afternoon July 24, according to US National Data Buoy Center. Other nearby buoys topped 100F (38C) and the upper 90s (35-37C).

The average water temperature in August is 84 degrees. The average high is 87.
101 and 92 degrees is definitely not normal.
