Unvaccinated Adults Who Had Virus Face Risk of Reinfection, C.D.C. Says

Then there's this new study.

Those who had the virus are twice as likely to be reinfected than those who get vaccinated.

From the article:

Luz Pena: "Is it dependent on the level of virus they were infected with?"

Dr. Timothy Henrich: "It seems to be and we don't know exactly how protected or how long the protection from natural infection will last," said Henrich UCSF Professor of Medicine in Residence.

Dr. Henrich has been studying the long term impacts of COVID-19 and says the immune response from natural infection is not as high.

"Both antibody responses and cellular immune responses or for example T-cells that recognize SARS-CoV-2 infection can persist for months. Eight to 12 months after natural infection and most likely after vaccination. What we don't fully understand is how protected those immune responses are longer term overtime," said Dr. Henrich.

In the CDC study, residents who were infected with COVID in 2020 experienced a reinfection between May and June of 2021. That's the same time the Delta variant intensified across the country.

This study seems to back up the many cases that have been reported of people who have contracted the virus more than once.

This woman is going to lose her home.

This woman got the virus twice. The second time killed her.

I can fill a message box full of cases of people who have contracted the virus twice.

I know those who honestly need to know this information will never read and accept it.

You can fill a message box with cases of vaccinated people that contracted the virus and spread it as well. BTW, it really is poor form to use the organization that is pushing an experimental mrna technology on the populace as a source of a study. Be my guest, get the jab four or five times, just quit trying to gain validation from the critical thinkers.

It's just fine to have your own opinion but not your own facts. Especially when your facts are wrong.

Having the wrong information can get you killed.

Immunity lasts up to 8 months in cases that aren't severe. It can last longer for those who recover from a severe case but immunity starts dropping after time too.

From a Swedish study released at the end of June 2021. About 6 weeks ago:

In the wake of the ongoing pandemic of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and its associated disease, the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), global public health has never been in such peril.

As a result of SARS-CoV-2 infection, antibodies are produced against a range of viral antigens, including the spike and the nucleocapsid protein. There is evidence that antibodies to the spike-S1 protein, and more specifically, the receptor-binding domain, can neutralize the virus. There’s been research showing people who had severe infections staying protected from the virus for months. But not much is known about how long immunity lasts after a mild infection.

Research led by Asa Bjorndal from the Public Health Agency of Sweden investigated people’s antibody response after mild symptoms. The findings showed Immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies that target the spike protein remained stable after 8 months. But antibodies targeting SARS-CoV-2’s nucleocapsid protein waned over time.
The only relevant part of that story is where it says "Initial sampling and follow-up showed there were no cases of reinfection."

A study was done and found that a person has a 2.34 times chance to get reinfected with the virus than people who have been vaccinated.

The study suggests that the the vaccine provides more protection than natural immunity generated by having contracted the virus.

This is great news. If the novel coronavirus fails at its first shot at the trump Nazis, the disease has a good chance for a second try.

Their choice, their problem.

people that had the virus were at risk, low risk, but risk nonetheless of getting it again. viruses mutate. Just like people that get the flu don’t ever not get the the flu again.

same with people that have been vaccined…

this isn’t anything new when it comes to viruses.

support your queefery, critical thinker. lol
Support your lack of ability to use English. When you learn to use it, do your own research. Unless, of course you are unable to do that--like getting a drivers license to provide id to vote. Here's a hint--it is on the CDC website. Now run along.

I don't see it that way.

I see it as more people being harmed.

I don't see political party. I see human beings.

That doesn't just include those who had the virus, it includes the children who are now without a mom or dad. Parents now without their daughter or son. Friends now without their friends. Siblings now without their sister or brother.

I lost my favorite aunt to the virus in the first wave last year in April.

I know what people go through. Both the people who are fighting the disease and those who love someone who is fighting the disease.

I don't want people to have to go through that. Especially since it's preventable now.

None of your business. Dr. Rochelle Walinsky, CDC Director, said herself the vaccines do not prevent transmission. So your case against the unvaccinated has evaporated.

I love how you said "a study"; meaning one, singular, and not 2 or more.

You are, indeed, a pandemic pornographer!!

Especially since it's preventable now.
You are deluded. It is not preventable. The jab does does not prevent you from contracting it nor spreading it. As one of the CDC's many directives states (give it however much credence you so desire). It lessens the severity. No mention of long-term side effects of the jab. Why? Because they DON'T KNOW. Covid is NOT preventable. Thanks go to Fauci, Biden and the CCP.

And I can fill a message window up with articles of people who contracted the virus AFTER being vaccinated. Wanna play?

lame, weirdo.

no one is interested in your regurgitated bullshit, critical thinker.

pcr is the gold standard. you, obviously, have no idea what you are queefing about.

but, as you evidently cannot support your idiotic musings with an actual source, you could try to explain what you imagined to be a point.
