I got some of my Liberty returned to me this year with my $2K tax break. That means that I get to keep a little more of the fruits of my labor instead of being a slave to the state where my money is given away to some filthy ass Illegal or third generation inner city Democrat voting welfare queen.

Less regulation means more Liberty. Booming economy means more economic freedom. Sealing the border against the mass of filthy Illegals that are exporting their poverty to the US helps us all. All good things.

Trump is doing fine after that Obama disaster that gave us greater poverty, reduced family income, tremendous debt, greater income disparity, disastrous health care and dismal economic growth. Many Americans suffered under Obama's failed Leftest policies.

We have long way to go to undo this Liberty robbing welfare state. Trump is making a little headway and that is good.

Technically, we are a "Constitutional Republic," not a true democracy and never have been. That aside, a political party that wants less government rule over peoples lives is more free and thus more democratic. So......with the exception of trying to interfere in abortion issues, the Republican concept of a smaller and less influential federal government, makes people freer to live their lives without government interference and thus more democratic on an individual level. The Democrat party's policy of a large over-reaching bureaucracy, leans more towards Marxism and an authoritarian government that makes people less free and thus is less democratic.
