You fail if that is what you got. Every one of those two plus million denials stopped possible gun crimes. The criminals would have had to have gotten the guns illegally: more effort, more expense, more time to think about it.The cop lived. Good deal. The shooter was drunk and, according to 2aguy, should not have had a gun, meaning criminals can get guns.
One, there has always been a war on cops, and as they make the bad ones go away while catching the bad guys, the war will slow down.
Two, the Brady law has resulted in background checks denying more than two million purchases to people who should not have guns. Yes, there are needs to do background checks and license guns; otherwise, the carnage will be far higher.
Yet you sillies want to talk about the exception that proves the rule.
Name one crime where having licensed all gun owners would have stopped the crime.
Name one crime where registering all guns would have stopped the crime.
You can't.
Licensing and registration is what the uninformed people say to sound relevant and smart. The anti gun extremists push licensing and registering guns because they want to eventually ban guns, and in the mean time it gives them a way to trip up law abiding gun owners.
Thank you for proving my point.
What part of the fact that almost all of the denials are law abiding people, who are allowed to own guns, were denied because of mistakes, not criminals trying to buy guns.....did you not get.......
And criminals get guns faster, and easier than law abiding citizens do.......
