They get all of the airtime because they are so horrible, and they are tools of the propagandists who wish to disarm us, but they are so rare that you are far more likely to die of somebody hitting you with a hammer. The way to reduce the casualties is eliminate gun free zones, and encourage lawful people to carry concealed.
