Jon Voight in Deliverance
Deliverance is a brilliant novel and exceptional movie. The four main characters were basically the animal, the passive, the religious, and the philosophical parts of the evolved human mind. Voight was the "philosopher" or the "rational" thinker in dealing with what happened. Very funny though. Burt Reynolds hired the redneck with the shotgun and the redneck that did the dirty, an actor cranking away never really getting a break, actually took Ned Beatty's input on hog tying a wild boar to improvise since the director wanted to keep takes to a minimum and keep a live feel to the performances.
So yes, is it any wonder Voight has got balls to stand up to qu33r, TDS folks when he faced serious "rednecks?" IMO he is LOL at the fags that are triggered.
