Was his office "bugged"?

God bless a free press.

Sorry if Mitch doesn't like it.

Yeah, I wish we could listen to Obama when he was discussing the cover story for Benghazi....

That would be cool as shit. :eusa_angel:

Almost as cool as the shit of a government worker 'Conservative' that whines about smaller government. Just because it is his paycheck that is getting smaller. After all, Mud, you are a government expense, supported by the work of real taxpayers like myself.

That is a very small view of the world. Strange how you love collectivism and socialism but despise anyone who works for the government itself.

What a fucken hypocrite you are.

Personally, after reading your opinion of me I wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

Go to hell..........I'll give you directions if you ever want to come to Ft Campbell.

LOL. Wonder if it was one of those minimum wage people they have doing there serving? Appropriate revenge, indeed.

You really have no idea what you are talking about, do you?

He's just some small minded little pole-smoker that just feels hatred for anyone who thinks differently than himself.

God bless a free press that bugs the office of a Senator? Are you fucking serious?
God bless the Watergate break in crew? God bless anyone who can bug obama's bedroom and releases tapes on Michelle beating the crap out of her old man?

What a friggin' hypocrite!

(Given that the story is in Mother Jones) Occam's Razor: whoever did it is a moonbat.

Somehow the office was bugged. Mother Jones was attempting to use the tape of McConnell against him. Mother Jones reportedly got ahold of the tape from a source and was trying to smear McConnell with it because they were discussing his opponent's mental health issues.

This is an example of somebody breaking the law and liberals trying to capitalize on it whichever way the story pans out. This is gutter politics of the worst kind. I think charges should be brought against Mother Jones for slander and they should be ordered to reveal their source because the tape was obtained illegally from somebody with criminal intent.

When was this?

Putting a bug in an public official's office when he is having private discussions about political opponents is illegal. If you agree with this bs then I hope you don't have a problem with listening in on every private discussion Obama and every public official has. It would be quite revealing. I'd be willing to bet some of the private conversations Obama's had with the criminals he's let into the White House would be enough to indict him on several felonies including fraud, gun-trafficking, criminal neglect, providing false testimony to congress, you name it.

When it happened, Sr. Hypocrite.

^This is just one of many reasons why you have no credibility.

You're an Internet disease.

It's one thing to videotape a meeting between the public and government funded representatives. It's quite another to bug the offices of public officials. You need a court order to do that. Guess you never heard of Watergate.

Depending on which state you're in you can't even videotape someone without their knowledge but still it happens all of the time. Americas Funniest Videos has to have people sign a release but it's always after the fact. Bugging an office without a warrant is a felony. You have to establish probable cause.

Probable Cause - Belief that a crime is being committed

Did O'Keefe have a warrant to tap Sen. Landrieu's phone?

I don't know, but you're talking about two different situations.

I agree with his taping ACORN but not bugging Sen. Landrieu's office. That's getting into illegality and I think O'Keefe is guilty of being too much of a zealot. You see, when our folks step over the line we don't like that ether. Can't say the same about folks like you.

You defended his attempted bugging of Landrieu's phone but you did say that back then that you thought he was too much of a risk taker.

Being someone who cares about consistency I think all three situations were wrong; McConnell, Landrieu, and ACORN.

O'Keefe's a slimeball and so is whoever it is who planted the bug in McConnell's office, if that's what happened here.

Srsly tho.....not matter what side someone is on, it takes a greasy motherfucker to go thru with shit like this.

what if it turns out to be someone he doesnt want in trouble?

This is going to be real fun

What if it turns out his office was bugged?

So what?

Or maybe someone just left the record feature on his cell phone.

The point is, McConnels' folks were talking about a campaign to slander this woman if she dared to run on her religion, relationships, etc. It was kind of scuzzy and McConnel never said once, "Hey, that's not the kind of campaign I want to run! We'll stick to the issues!"

New rule, Repugnuts--- if you are going to act like douchebags, assume that someone is probably going to record you doing it.

It was like you learned nothing from the whole Romney 47% thing.

BUSTED!!!!!

Okay, let's get real here. The thing here is that McConnel has shown himself to be a real creep. Whining that someone recorded him is just a deflection.

Nope. Is shows that the left will stop at nothing to win, even break the law. Laws are meant for thee, not me.

What crap. They weren't going to "slander" anyone. They were going to talk about things in her autobiography (which she wrote about herself) and if she didn't want such things discussed, she shouldn't have reitten about herse.f.
