The gun violence archive lies.....they include gang shootings in their total because actual mass public shootings are so few and rare, they can't use them to stampede uninformed Americans into giving the democrats more power.

A mass public shooting is understood to be an individual, or individuals going to a public space with the intent on murdering innocent people.

That is a mass public shooting.

Gang members driving up on the home of a rival gang member and shooting it up, or going to the funeral of a rival gang member and shooting it up....or shooting at a rival gang member at a club.....is not a mass public shooting...it is gang violence.

The two are different crimes, with two very different solutions....

Americans understand if they stay out of the cities........cities controlled by the democrat party.....and the very tiny areas where the gang violence happens....they do not have to worry about getting shot.

Mass public shooters....as few and as rare as they are, can happen in public spaces not routinely targeted by democrat party gang shooters.......so when they get 24/7 news coverage from the democrat party media...it gives the impression that normal people are more at risk from them.....

Nobody wants to take away guns from responsible owners, but there are way too many irresponsible owners out there, and it is way too easy to get a gun. In some states you can just go to the store or a private sale, or a gun show, and instantly buy one. Online sales are a free for all.

That needs to stop. A Gun license needs to be like a drivers license. We need to track and monitor all guns and sales like cars, and all gun owners just like vehicle owners.

Cars kill if used irresponsibly and we have a whole slew of laws and policies designed to keep people safe from irresponsible drivers.

Guns kill way more than cars and are substantially more dangerous, yet most people can easily get one. That needs to stop, because too many innocent kids die.

They need to close all the major loop holes like private sales, online sales, and hun show sales, and they need to get serious about keeping us safe.

I looked for a state that’s taking gun violence seriously. I found Massachusetts.

Massachusetts offers a model for dealing with gun violence that the rest of the country could follow.

The problem is how Bryant and his 20 staffers define mass shootings.


When most people hear the term “mass shooting,” they picture a crazed gunman stalking the halls of a school or a shopping mall, coldly and randomly executing innocent young victims. What does not come to mind are rival drug crews shooting it out in Chicago or Detroit, or a madman murdering his entire family, which no sane person would consider a mass shooting.


The GVA makes no such distinction.

If four people are wounded, the GVA labels it a mass shooting regardless of the circumstances, and the media and anti-gun politicians lap up the GVA’s inflated stats.

When I interviewed Bryant in July for our special report, I asked him if he actually believed that the average news consumer even considers domestic violence or gang warfare when they hear the term mass shooting. Bryant replied, “I don’t know. I know what we want to do is provide numbers and let the journalists, advocates and ‘congress critters’ look at the data, glean details and drill down on it.”
Unfortunately, today’s legacy journalists and anti-rights politicians are too lazy to do any drilling down. They prefer to cut and paste Bryan’s off-the-charts stats.
