Here is my question. If you're spending that much compared to all potential adversaries; how is spending $0.49, $0.50, or $0.51 of every dollar going to make you more secure, safe, or intimidate your enemies further?
I read his plan. I didn't see "military pay increase" there anywhere. That would be the first thing I raise; that and doubling military pensions.
He did say in his plan that he wants to build 17 ships a year instead of the 9 we're building now.
