Welcome To TrumpCare

Bingo.

Employer sponsored health insurance is tax exempt. That means every taxpayer is subsidizing people who get their insurance from their employer. We all have to pay higher tax rates to make up for that tax exemption. Plus, we have to borrow from China and add to the debt.

But you see, the tards NEVER see THEIR government gifts as theft. Only the free shit given to others bothers them.
All socialist entitlement programs are theft
Indeed! Like the $1.4 trillion of tax expenditures which drive up our tax rates and cause heavy borrowing from China and other nations.
There is no such thing as a socialist entitlement program that is self-sufficient absolutely 100 percent impossible for them to stand up under their own weight

Medicare and Social Security have Trusts. That's literally the programs being self-sufficient.

What a goofball.
SS and Medicare are bankrupt fool... lol

they are not bankrupt yet, fool.

It is amazing to me none of the psuedocons are able to recall my thoughts about healthcare reform.

I know for a fact bripat has seen my ideas before.

This just confirms what I have said about pseudocons. Memories like goldfish.

That's why Trump knows he can lie at will. He knows the tards will forget what he promised them.

They get really pissed at me for reminding them of those promises.

Trump could tell them today that yesterday he promised to make the sun come up and they'd bleev him.

No, what's amazing is the level of your narcissism. Nobody gives a shit about you say today, let alone any other day. You are quite the legend in your own mind little boy.

Less people are putting less in... more people are taking more out.
That’s bankrupt - no two ways about it

They are not yet bankrupt because the government keeps doing tricks to keep them solvent. Social Security would have been bankrupt this year if the retirement age had not been raised to 67.

Now it is set to bankrupt in 2035.

Currently, the Social Security Board of Trustees projects program cost to rise by 2035 so that taxes will be enough to pay for only 75 percent of scheduled benefits.

Enjoy your record high Trumpcare bills!

I've said since before he was inaugurated that Trump will usher in single payer. He's always been a Democrat.

If the Democrats win Congress in 2018, Trump and they will enact socialized medicine.

That is the whole purpose of Obamacare, bankrupt the healthcare in this country to usher in single payer. Obamacare should have never been enacted.
Single payer will the final nail in the coffin for this country

It will be the fault of pseudocons that we end up with single payer.

They never held the GOP or Trump's feet to the fire to come up with a solution. Because they are just that retarded.

“I shouldn’t say this,” Trump said, “but we essentially repealed Obamacare.”

Trump just told the truth. He may wish he hadn’t.

Enjoy your record high Trumpcare medical and insurance costs, rubes.

  • Premiums for the most popular health insurance on the individual market exchanges are estimated to rise 34 percent on average next year, according to the consulting firm Avalere Health, because of previous sabotage done by the Trump administration. Premiums in Iowa would be up 69 percent, Wyoming 65 percent and Utah 64 percent.
  • Employer-based health insurance costs are forecast to rise in 2018 by the most since 2011

Get all governments, state and federal, out of the market for healthcare and insurance.

Problem solved.

That's right.

You should be buying your health insurance the same way you buy your auto, home, and life insurance.

It should not be provided by your employer. That makes you a hostage to your employer's take-it-or-leave-it policy. You have zero negotiating leverage.

In turn, your employer is hostage to government rules which force your employer to buy insurance from a limited number of insurance companies in your geographic area.

Employer sponsored insurance should not be tax exempt. That bends the health care cost curve upward, and it drives up tax rates on every taxpayer.

You should be able to pick up the telephone and be able to call any insurer in the country. This gives you maximum negotiating leverage because you can always hang up and call any of a constellation of competitors.

This is not to be confused with the smoke and mirrors "buy insurance across state lines" bullshit. That's a boondoggle to benefit the insurance companies at your expense. It's a total ripoff.

You should be able to buy insurance from ANY insurance company ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY. Just like you do with auto, home, and life insurance. Huge difference.

That way, you could bundle your health insurance with all your other insurances and get bundle discounts. And you wouldn't lose your insurance when you lose or change your job, and thus would get long term customer discounts.

The government is the biggest player in the health insurance market. This is the only insurance market in which the government is a player. The government is not a player in the auto, home, or life insurance markets.

The government is the biggest player in the health insurance market, and gets to write the rules for its private sector competitors! This is the kind of shit we invented laws to break up trusts for!

Those are my thoughts on the necessary and comprehensive reforms we need for health care.

Does it blow your mind to learn that a lot of pseudocon tards think I am a liberal?

Abolishing frivolous lawsuits would largely get rid of the need of malpractice insurance, in turn put a lot ambulance chasers out business... That would start to eliminate the appeal of health insurance. Because we all know health insurance is not healthcare, most people learn that in grade school...

Interesting. "Single payer" in the form of Medicare, has existed in this country since 1966, yet the country is still here! Medicaid is also 'single payer". Also, the USA is the only industrialized nation on earth that does not have universal health care, and all those countries are still here, too. Also, interesting is the fact that manufacturing jobs have been moving out of this country for decades. Could that be partially because Ford has been paying more for employee health insurance than they have been paying for steel since 1977?

Socialized medicine would be fine if it was 100 percent voluntary, but obviously Socialism has no regard for any sort of freedom and individuality. Forcing people into shit like that is a no go

All those countries with socialized medicine have been cutting back benefits for decades. That's why they now allow private insurance.

Canada used to ban private insurance. Then someone went all the way to the Canadian Supreme Court over it. You know what that court said?

"Access to a waiting list is not access to health care."

So now Canada has private health insurance to make up for their system's failings.

As for Ford and manufacturing jobs, you have GOT to be kidding. Those jobs didn't go overseas. They were automated out of existence and are never coming back.

Auto manufacturing 40 years ago. You can see about a dozen humans in the photo working on four cars:

Yep, That is the reality of today. Adapt and overcome...

Forcing everybody into a collective will solve nothing

Anchor Rising: Canadian Supreme Court: "Access to a Waiting List is NOT Access to Health Care"

Call it the hip that changed health-care history. When George Zeliotis of Quebec was told in 1997 that he would have to wait a year for a replacement for his painful, arthritic hip, he did what every Canadian who's been put on a waiting list does: He got mad. He got even madder when he learned it was against the law to pay for a replacement privately. But instead of heading south to a hospital in Boston or Cleveland, as many Canadians already do, he teamed up to file a lawsuit with Jacques Chaoulli, a Montreal doctor...

The court's decision strikes down a Quebec law banning private medical insurance and is bound to upend similar laws in other provinces. Canada is the only nation other than Cuba and North Korea that bans private health insurance...

"Access to a waiting list is not access to health care," wrote Chief Justice Beverly McLachlin for the 4-3 Court last week.
