When we brought up the movement of conservatives from the Democrats to the Republican Party in the 60's, more and more USMB Republicans are insisting that never happened and they want "hard evidence" that it did happen.
They seem to think blacks left the Republicans and joined the Democrats because blacks have so little integrity they are easily being bought with food stamps and "free stuff".
So when you rewrite history, there are those pesky "collateral facts" that are too stubborn to "go along".
Since Republicans are the party of anti slavery and Lincoln and Martin Jr. were both Republicans and we know for a fact that the Republican Party is the home of today's "confederates", the logical question is, "Were Lincoln and MLK Jr. Confederates"? And if so, who was Lincoln fighting during the Civil War?
