Of course not, and as has been explained ad nauseum, we're not a democracy. If we were, we would have national restrictions on abortion, just for one example. People have for a long time expressed that they want it kept legal, but support restrictions. That's just one example.

There are many legal camps. Those that want to go by the text of the constitution, interpreted by when it was written. Those that want to go by the intent of the writers of the constitution. And those who want to interpret taking how the country has evolved into consideration.

I object to the word ‘intent’, as if there were only one. IMO, the Constitution was constructed with deliberate vagueness, in part, to allow for flexibility over the decades. I doubt they thought their ideas were some sort of wisdom for the ages, but rather a framework on to which democracy could be constructed.

There were also protests in Venezuela, but none of them effected what was happening in Washington DC.

There weren't that many republicans to do that.

Yes, they are the party of Big Corporations and Big Donors. George Soros is the single largest donor. Corporations all around America push the Dem Agenda with DEI crap and push the LGBTQ fag Agenda every June. Big corporations love Dems because Dems love China and won’t put any tariffs on China, so they can use that cheap Chinese slave labor for more profits.
