What is the US hoping to achieve with the sanction son Russia?

You didn't answer the question troll. Do your neighbors not care that your ruble is worth less than a penny...that your inflation is over 20%...that your sons are dying in Ukraine for PUTLER?
Putins approval has increase to over 71% and russians are getting along just fine.
Any losses in revenue through sanctions in the west will be offset with trade elsewhere.
Russia is already the worlds largest wheat exporter and among the biggest exporters of Patnium and Titanium, of which NASA importants the majority of.

The Russian ruble is going to recover by the end of this quarter.

A better question is what Putin intends to accomplish by committing open war on an independent country? We all know how few Russian people support Putin in this. Is Putin suicidal? Maybe it's time the Russian people demonstrate their commitment to peace and progress and put in some term limits on, starting with him. After all, true Russians pride themselves on how strong the people are. They can't be afraid to take care of their own business.
Did you think these things when W and O invaded independent nations?

The hypocrisy is at an all time level.

Will the ruble recover?

Not for a while

Will those soldiers lives come back?

Nope

Seems to me we should be paying attention to what we're hearing directly from Russians.

Ultimately it's with MORE than what we hear from our corrupt lying media.

We’ve heard about enough from Russians over the last 5 or 6 years

Right now Inflation in US and EU is worsening and China is about to overtake the US economically by 2030 at the latest.
Not to mention the massive debt the US has right now. How long will the US be able to fund their wars before the economy comes crashing down on them?

Russia has enough trade with China and central asia to fund her needs.

Right now, Russian forces are about to take mariupol andencircle the majority of Ukrainian forces in Donbas, as planned.
We'll outlast Russia, always. Freedom and a capitalist system wins, each and every time.

Meanwhile, the Russian citizenry has been reduced to becoming 'McHorders'.

I wish no harm on the Russian people, but your government needs to die a slow, agonizing death.

WTF is Patnium?

Casualties are inevitable and it wont matter much when you win the war.

If Russians did not fight against the Nazis back in WW2, then Millions o Russians would have died. Now its about time to defend the motherland again, this time from a puppet state run by neo nazis and ordered around by some petty deathdealers in the US.

Russia isn't even communist anymore, not even Socialist. We are way past all of that.

There are many lessons that Russia learned from the collapse of the Soviet union.
Meanwhile, America's inflation is rising to a 40 year record high and projected to get worse.

As we know, putin is a psychopathic. His whole goal is to leave a legacy he united the motherland again. He's no different to Hitler and Mussolini. His minions of oligarchs are already questioning him about how the sanctions on their wealth has affected them, they can't spend it us the main problem.

Hes too cunning to leave himself available to assassination. His downfall will come from within by the very people who support him in the Kremlin.
That is a trend which happens to dictators.

I cannot believe how Europe is watching a genocide happen and will not break the silly nato thing and bomb the shit out if him. America has done it before. He has basically no opposition so far which doesn't give him a reason to stop.

But then there's the china thing. Aaah yes. What will they do if America jumps on him. What will happen if putin sees defeat and let's off a big one. He's got nothing to lose.

And that comes from someone living in a country ruled by a decrepit old man, who is about as decrepit as the country he governs and a government that pursues infantile policies.

While the West do their wishful thinking takes about "Russians will suffer and bring down their leader" they should be prepared for exactly that happening at home. The West IS NOT PREPARED to suffer the Russians are and will win again.

Anyway, are you people in the US and Europe enjoying your high energy and gas prices?
Worth every penny.

You know what would happen to an American president that keeps making choices that destroy his country's economy like that? A quick retirement.

Not in Russia. In Russia people are too fucking stupid to understand that keeping uncontested king around for decades will bring you nothing but ruin.

Your leadership has almost ZERO responsibility to the people, because no matter what shit they make you eat, Putin Vison Media will convince you it's the finest steak you've ever head.

You can get back to watching your Putin Vision TV.

Americans have been voting toxic, incompetent politicians for generations, why else would they vote Biden? Or take Germany as example, Scholz and his green eco freaks are fucking their own people over, yet they still vote them because they believe in their infantile policies even though their gas prices are skyrocketing.

Difference between Putin and most American presidents is that Putin was a KGB agent and has his share of experience while US presidents are usually opportunistic career politicians.

Ignoramus, no man rules America.

Unlike Russia we have competetive elections, peaceful transfer of power, strong Constitutional rights and a strict separation of Government branches - Legislative, Judical and Executive.

And also a mentally retarded voterbase that thinks men can become women and vice versa, or that you can identify yourself as whatever you want.

Your own army has nothing better to do than doing drag queen shows for your soldiers or making an animated recruitement add featuring a girl with 2 moms, who also marries her second mom.

Im glad that Russia is not the US, i oculdnt imagine such degeneracy in my country.

Nope, the difference is Putin is a de-facto autocrat who is hellbent on making sure there is no true challenge to his rule.

There is no true opposion party to seriously criticize him. There is no true freedom of press. There are no meaningful elections.

His opposition is in jail and all idependent media now shuttered.

Reporting the basic truth, that Russia is conducting a war in Ukraine, gets you 15 years in jail.

This is the shit you live in. This is the shit they convinced you is a-ok.

On one hand I feel bad for Russians, on the other hand you as people allowed it.

If you are refering to navalny, then he can stay in jail, we have no need for a nutcase who conspired with neo nazis.

Having one good president for decades is far better than having a toxic one every 4 years. Russia has substantially improved under Russia , both militarily and economically.
Of course, he has his sucesserors should he retire one day.
