The West will have to make peace with Russia

There is absolutely no chance this can happen.

Why do you want more dead Ukrainians all for nothing?

Do you support the US war machine making billions off dead Ukrainians?
To the Ukrainians, the war isn’t nothing. They are defending their country from an unprovoked attack. Just like the USA was doing in 1812, and more to the point Poland was doing in 1939.

And the cause of the war was the Royal Navy enslaving US citizens on the high seas. American flagged ships are American territory, and the British had no problem boarding them and kidnapping anyone they considered to be British.
We invaded Canada, got our butts whipped most of the time. So did American naval forces violate the laws of the sea.

Don't lie about who declared war first.

Show me one instance where the US violated the laws of the sea.
No, you don't get away with that. The fact is the US not the British declared war first in hopes of taking Canada. Seriously failed.

You made the claim, support it or retract it. Yes the US declared war after nearly a decade of British abuse. Jefferson tried to avoid war with the British by embargoing ALL international trade by US merchant ships. The Brits still boarded American flagged ships sailing between American ports and kidnapped their crewmen at will. HMS Leopard actually attacked USS Chesapeake in time of peace barely outside the US three-mile limit to kidnap three members of her crew that the British accused of being deserters. The US exerted an incredible amount of restraint in its conduct with the British.

So. For almost a decade they were stealing goods off American Merchant ships and then pressing American Sailors into the British Navy.

While we screwed up invading Canada and got DC burned, Andrew Jackson beat the British in Louisiana.

Support for Ukraine has become a divisive political issue in the United States, as it seems almost anything important will – and so many people are emotional about it. But a sober analysis suggests Ukraine may soon have to seek a deal with Russia.
The West erred disastrously in extending delusions of NATO membership to a country whose borders reach within a few hundred miles of Moscow, and that Russia – not just Putin – was left with little choice but to draw a line in the steppe.
Moreover, Russia is unlikely to lose because it has a massive numbers advantage and a determined leadership – backed up by a significant swath of public opinion – which doesn't mind sacrificing as much treasure and as many lives as it takes to subdue Ukraine. Critically, this narrative says, Russia's shocking violation of the longstanding taboo on nuclear threats may not be a bluff.

The current administration of America doesn't want peace.

That's why they never tried to broker peace. It was immediately to saying Russia would take over all of Europe, calling for boycotts of Russia, companies pulling out of Russia, us sending 100s of billions of dollars to Ukraine and promising to fund Ukraine as long as it takes.

You will need a new administration if you want peace with Russia.

To say nothing of the multiple lies and deceptions by the US government and it’s controlled media.

O commits a coup in 2014, provides tons of weapons, and installs a government opposing Russia leading to war in the Donbas and Crimea returning to Russia. All to provoke Russia.

Then they lie all throughout the Minsk Accords to deceive Putin and allow Ukraine to build up their army. Then all the talk of NATO membership, knowing full well Putin won’t accept it. He’d stated for years it was a red line. He invades and the US government and its media scream UNPROVOKED. Amazingly dumb Americans believe them.

I don't think Putin wants nuclear war any more than we do. And Russia needs to be sanctioned for bad acts as any country doing bad acts needs to be sanctioned and incur consequences for that.

But Trump had the right idea. We don't appreciate others telling us how we must run our country and we are regarded with just as much contempt when we tell other countries how they must run theirs. No dictator is going to willingly give up his country for a more so-called democratic system and all too often, when he is forced to give up his country, he is replaced by a worse devil.

Putin for sure is no angel and no one to use as an ethical or benevolent role model, but he is a known quantity and is much more peaceful and closer to being amenable when he doesn't feel threatened by other countries. Trump says we don't have to like the way these people do things, but the world is in much better shape when there is mutual respect, even friendship instead of everybody threatening war. And that is best achieved by setting ground rules of what is tolerable if not acceptable to each country and other world leaders know he (Trump) is as good as his word as to what the consequences will be for bad acts.

It is that sort of "Trump doctrine' that gave us the closest thing to world peace that any of us have ever experienced in our lifetime.

Useful idiots like you need to learn very simple facts about the Ukrainian conflict:

If Russia wanted peace, then all it had to do was not invade.

If Russia wants peace, then all it has to do is take its soldiers home.
