Here's a crazy idea. Someone wants to buy a AR-15, we do a little more than check a database.

We call his employers (all of whom, including the air force, would have said bad stuff about him.)

We Call his ex-wife.

We talk to a few of his neighbors.

Had that been done, this could have been avoided. It wasn't, because the NRA specifically doesn't want these kinds of background checks to be done.

And the only massacres were done with muskets, bows and tomahawks......but if the Founders knew that socialist governments around the world would murder close to 200 million innocent men, women and children....all unarmed and defenseless....they would have mandated that every home have multiple rifles at all times....

Okay, besides the 200 million being a silly number, most of those people had guns. They were usually on the LOSING side of civil wars.

When did the ground shift on gay marriage? It shifted when big corporations started recognizing civil unions and then decided that they were for gay marriage because happy employees were productive employees.

Now big corporations are getting tired of all the extra money they have to spend protecting against active shooters, tired of putting the flags in front of their factories at half-mast every other week, tired of walking through three key-carded security doors. Tired of listening to their traumitized kids having to describe active shooter drills at school with the realization that they are rehearsing their own deaths.

The attack on my NRA is disgusting. While getting my daily communist intel from CNN, they are quoting how it is so refreshing to see that companies are doing this. Kind of funny that the left thinks a 3% break on an airline ticket is the only value we receive from the NRA. Removing a discount is not a cost increase, so we say 'have at it'.

The funny part is CNN was posting some tweets from gun grabbers who say they were glad to see companies do the 'right thing'. The right thing?

Most Americans don't own guns and want common sense gun control. The corporations can see that, too. But the bigger hit to their bottom line is when some crazy asshole comes in and shoots up the H R Department. The guy who sold him that gun is immune to damages, thanks to the dunderheads in Congress, but the company is totally on the hook for liabilities. That's why you'll see corporations get sick of the crazies in the National Rampage Association.

I agree. So if we protest companies that have partnerships with the National Rampage Association, buy stock in gun makers, and so on, that will cost them money.
