I got really-really lucky, I caught a guy going through a divorce and got the place cheap. It's right on the Shenandoah River just a few miles from my house. I can deer, small game, and turkey hunt, fish, and shoot with equal enthusiasm.

As far as I can tell, my Kroger has got stuff, lots of stuff.

That's five ingredients.

I use dixie lily self-rising flour, crisco and buttermilk.

That Louisiana school teacher would add a special 4th ingredient.

The only time I mess with it is when I make squirrel gravy....Nothing like squirrel gravy over a halved homemade Cathead biscuit.....or three.

I just make regular white gravy with my biscuits.

And I don't do that halving stuff.
