I can relate--had my share of SOS.Yeah, a lot of people do. If they have it like that.
Growing up poor in the sticks, you get what you get and like it. Eventually it becomes preference, or just routine.
I'm seeing the same lament on a lot of sites.....Myself I've only seen a shortage of Pillsbury products.
LOL....I guess we will be making our own Hardtack and liking it before long what with Tater as POTUS for three more years.

I know it--he has to settle for zwieback or melba toast.Poopeypants eats Gerber baby food, no shortage of that product....so he says lower your expectations you dont need biscuits.
The best SOS I ever had was in a prison back in the 70s......We raised/ground our own beef and it would be all gravy-ed up and ladled over fresh-baked bread that had been buttered (real butter) on both sides and baked in the oven till brown. Sorta like Texas Toast but much, much, better. Everyone on camp looked forward to SOS morning.I can relate--had my share of SOS.
