That would be the best thing to do if that were an option.I agree and would cover the camera.

You are trying to play both sides of issue.
It is a complex issue.
You can't say that you disagree with the rules but that you "understand" them being enforced.
It doesn't work like that.
Actually I can and it does.
We have a system in this Country to overturn rules and laws we disagree with.
There are lots of reason today to consider some people actual enemies of the state. My position is that the ZTP rules are stupid as hell and that anybody that enforces them is an enemy of the people.
Enforcing a ZTP I'm thinking ain't one of them.
I am not sure what that means.
You are not correct.Stop taking from both sides of your mouth. If I'm correct, as you just stated, the school has no authority to enforce school rules in peoples homes, so it is relevant.
.
Understanding why a rule is being enforced is not defending it.Then perhaps you should stop defending it.
.
Why would that not be an option? That would be the best thing to do if that were an option.
No one is being oppressed here. That kid who got suspended for bullshit would disagree with you.
Oppression in any form is the enemy of the American people.
Stop trying to defend the indefensible. it just makes you look like a fool.
I don't know that it isn't....Why would that not be an option?

Schools and the employees are stated mandated reporters.
They have to report these things by law.
Understanding why a rule is being enforced is not defending it.Then perhaps you should stop defending it.

That is a bit extreme.
I didn't compare the kid's home to a school bus.
Perhaps you should reread my post.
But, during a virtual visit, what is visible in that screen becomes an extension of the school.
Just like riding home on the bus is an extension of the school.
In the state of Texas, any unsecured fire arm is to be reported.Really, what law says the school must report a kid having a BB bun in his bedroom? Link it please.
.
I said it was an extension of the school Jackass ....You compared the contents of the kid's home, as visible in the screen, to a school bus.
Same thing.
But, during a virtual visit, what is visible in that screen becomes an extension of the school.Just like riding home on the bus is an extension of the school.
I didn't make the rule brother ....
I'm just stating what it is.
Kids can't own guns.
You're an idiot. You would think the gun freaks would be up in arms over this..it was only a BB gun but still..After Black Child Was Suspended for Having BB Gun at Home, Louisiana Lawmakers Move to Help Him Appeal
Turned out to be an overreach by the school and the reason they are backing off.The kid was expelled for putting the gun in view of the camera for all on the virtual visit to see.
