I think it's called BRAINWASHED with identity politics. We got em all up here in the eastern Washington(east of the Cascade mtn. range) side of the state, Black folks, India Indians, Chinese folks, Thailand folks, White folks, Japanese folks, American native Indians(Colville tribe/Spokane tribe/I'm surrounded by them) Russian folks, Jewish folks, Latino folks, Christians, Mormons Catholics, Protestants, JW's, Lutherans & the list goes on & on. I mean us folks in eastern Washington must be facial features blind & color blind??? Even Dems/Pubs in this area get along for the most part(civilized to one another @ the least). We try our best to make the best(why not?) of the situation however it turns out politically. We appreciate our neighbors I mean why not enjoy our fellow Americans by treating them like we would like to be treated ourselves? Folks in the big city(Spokane) have become more angry/rude(more pre$$ured) than they were 20-25 years ago for sure but not near so as the big city folks west of the Cascades(the FORBIDDEN zone!) & further south in Portland Oregon.
I worked with a Black gentleman trained in HVAC that came over here to Spokane(Spo-can) from the St Louis area, not right in St Louis but like a suburb of St Louis? He told me that the Black folks in the ghetto area(s?) were actually murdering their own neighbors(other Black folks)!!!!!
He told me he had to clear that entire area so he left for the west coast before he bacame another victim. I mean how he explained that area(s) it sounds like mass psychopathy to me. FWIW, here's what I think: Black people have the impression that white people are obsessed with the presence of Black people in our society, and are at least resentful, if not hateful of those Black people.

The reality is that most white people couldn't care less one way or another about Black people, because outside of the big cities, "we" rarely even encounter them, and the encounters we do have are completely innocuous.

However, there is the factor that the Media are shoving Black people (and inter-racial couples/families) down "our" figurative throats every time we turn on the television.

"We" are constantly told that "Father Knows Best" and "Leave it to Beaver" were not representative of American society when those programs were popular on TV. But neither is this. There are more POC's and sexual irregulars on scripted television and in commercials today than there are in anyplace outside San Francisco.
