In a press conference Tuesday afternoon, John Elder, with the Minneapolis Police Department, said police are investigating at least 23 home-invasion style robberies, in the south Minneapolis area, that involved Hispanic and Latino families. Police say it’s likely Buckingham was involved in a majority of these crimes. There are three other suspects who police think are also involved. The investigation into these incidents is ongoing. Elder went on to say the families may have been deliberately targeted by the suspects who thought they wouldn't have bank accounts and would not report the incidents to the police due to their immigration status.

I believe the MSM is very biased when it comes to what to choose to "report". Matter of fact, there is no more good reporting. Mostly biased opinions. And what they call "facts" are usually debunked quickly.
It seems that what they call "Journalism" is not even close to the good old days, when news were being reported without any biased opinions. IMO

I doubt that we ever had unbiased news.

Growing up we had 3 TV news sources - they all said the same thing - We just thought Uncle Walter and the others weren't biased because we had no frame of reference.

I agree with you respectfully on the last part of your comment. Yes, that's why we the viewer/listener need to differentiate facts from opinion.
But I am sure you know, as well as I know, the media is more concern about slandering and omitting what should be Truth. And reports what they "believe is the truth". When in reality, it is only them "propagandizing" what they state.

It seems that MSNBC/ CNN and the rest of the MSM takes what the WaPo/New York Times "writes" and then they "run with it". And it's just not the New York Times. But anything they can manipulate their viewers into believing is true. When they know very well, it isn't. But they don't care. And even to some degree, they will even make up stuff, so it will make it loo lie that - to them - it is the Truth.
It doesn't matter who is making the news. In most case, it is Trump.
They seem to take his words way out of context. And they will twist and turn it, and make it sound as if that is what he said. When in reality, they are distorting his words. IMO
