A mail man can simply throw your ballot to garbage and swap it with his own, there is no way of catching that. You would not want a vote for the best president ever be nullified in ultimate carelessness towards Americans would you?

America is not a democracy. Our founding values explicitly prohibit most people from voting for obvious reasons.

It is far better that fewer people vote.
