Why be a liberal?

People know about terrorism coming in many forms or faces, but people know how to also deal with the active one that is currently in operation, and who the operatives are, and who they represent at the time.
Do people stop to think about the reason terrorism takes place? What causes normal, law abiding folk to get radicalized and want to take the law into their own hands? I guarantee our foreign policy has, in part, something to do with that.
So you're another blaim America type ? Are you seriously commenting on operations, policies, vital interest, and foriegn relations in which you know nothing about ? It is an area to be exploited by anti-American sentiment, because most have no clue as to what goes on, and the left figures no one does as far as the average American is concerned, so exploit it just like global warming etc. right ? Right !!

I was in College Park MD. Stayed right next door ot the main entrance of U of MD....ON the front door of this bar was this list.
It said. "we practice tolerance here...The list included. "Muslim respecting" as one of its credos...
Among other allegiances to just about every PC protected class one could think of. Of the groups EXCLUDED, were Caucasians( the bulk of the U of MD student body., Christians and Males.
I applaud this restaurant management's honesty. They are telling the world exactly which people they DO NOT want in their establishment.
Progressives work so diligently to stand on their soapbox to screech at anyone who will listen for whom they demand respect. They claim to preach inclusiveness. But what they are really preaching is "exclusiveness".

Why be a liberal?

Because liberals are kick-ass, that's why!
Yes, each one of them have bruised posteriors.
And, you're full of shit. The mid term election results of the last 8 to 10 years show this. Liberalism is OUT. It is rejected.
If progressives( you are really not liberals in the classical sense) were so God damned popular, your candidates would never lose an election. Such is not the case.
Like it or not, the US is STILL and always will be a generally conservative nation. Progressives and modern liberalism are simply there to discuss and debate.

No one said that they did.
Then why do they get more of the attention?

There is a major problem in this country's thinking that terrorism can't have a white face. And that is one of the ways it manifests.
Ahh. The race card. FAILURE of the highest order.
BTW genius. Your avatar? Do you know what Sam Kinnison did before he became a stand up comic?
If you used his image as your avatar, you'd know without looking it up.....

With liberalism you get this - liberty.

Liberty rocks. The Founders were liberals. Now, why don't you understand this? You should be all over defending liberty like white on rice but you aren't. Why so?

Liberals in this country are no more friends to freedom than conservatives are. Keep deluding yourself

Girls girls girls.

You're missing the point. It all depends on how you define liberal.

Are you for actual liberty?

If you are you should be for limited government.

If you are you should have zero problem with somebody's practicing their religious beliefs.

If you are, then if nobody's hurting or stealing from you, stay the hell out of their business, and above all make sure the government does as well. It's that simple

First, no one is debating that...
in effect, you are incorrect.
Lets look at a few examples
In New Jersey. Despite that state at least in a sense of which party dominates, it is as blue as it gets.
Yet.many of NJ statutes date back hundreds of years and to date have only seen cursory challenges.
NJ Liquor control laws are steeped in religious doctrine. Also, there are many municipalities that have so called Blue Laws which bar certain types of activities on Sundays.
The so called Bible Belt is dominated by conservative Protestants and many laws and regulations which this important voting bloc find objectionable.
Utah? That state is owned an operated by the Mormon Church.
So if it your claim that religion has no influence on law or activity, you are not paying attention.

Who and why would anyone indicate that religion had no influence on our law? As you know, and know well, our nation was founded as a Christian-Judeo country.

Most Americans suck. No worries. We have them covered:

Do people stop to think about the reason terrorism takes place? What causes normal, law abiding folk to get radicalized and want to take the law into their own hands? I guarantee our foreign policy has, in part, something to do with that.

Why then are so many recent attacks in Europe?

Please don't bother to answer. You're a troll and would argue about the color of the sky.

What you describe above is Classical liberalism. Now loosely known as libertarian.
Neither of which remotely resemble modern liberalism........None of the above ideology has within it where others are harshly judged, excluded or forced to agree with its point of view.
Todays liberal is excluding, judgmental and forces others to agree with its narrow minded views lest the person in disagreement be mocked, impugned or have their life destroyed

Did she (billo) actually just say that?

So you're another blaim America type ?
And you're a "never blame America for anything" type?

Are you seriously commenting on operations, policies, vital interest, and foriegn relations in which you know nothing about ?
I am commenting on things that are not consistent with American values and "truth" is one of those values. The truth is, you do not make friends bombing peoples neighborhood. Or occupying "their" country.

It is an area to be exploited by anti-American sentiment, because most have no clue as to what goes on, and the left figures no one does as far as the average American is concerned, so exploit it just like global warming etc. right ? Right !!
Arguing against global warming is as stupid as arguing gravity plays no role in plane crashes.
