Why Biden is in trouble.

Those figures include all forms of entertainment, which include cable TV, stream renting etc.

So, then you agree that spending on Entertainment/Leisure is not down, it is just being spent differently.

I dont know, restaurants seem to have hit their pre-COVID trend line.

Various... Fred, Statistica, etc.

And another thing is the other graphs are not including 17% increase in cost.
So, today, if a graph shows a spending increase of 10% over 2021... it is actually a 7% decline.

So no links, I always assume those who refuse to provide links are hiding something. it seems a sure bet.

Here is one adjusted for inflation...

While his clueless supporters tout "we have low inflation now!!... thank you Biden!!"
They fail to understand that prices are cumulative.
And - there is a measure for that, and one not often talked about.
It is called the Consumer Price Index.

And look at it.
The red line is when Biden was elected.
Do you notice anything about the little blue line?

United States Consumer Price Index (CPI).
So your point is
Inflation goes up

Guess what?
I don’t pay 28 cents for gas anymore

But I don’t make $12,000 a year eithe

It's fast food... you always have to go deeper than overall data graphs.

I really don’t think this graph is capable of demonstrating what you want. It’s year over year growth, which was markedly positive for full service restaurants because they were most affected. It doesn’t tell us whether theyve recovered from that, which presumably wouldnt have affect fast food as much.

Not to mention it only goes through half of 2022.

You need better data.

But also, so what if it is fast food?

Is Trump or anyone else claiming that if we elect him we are going to see deflation? Honestly?

Corner seems to have been turned.

As compared to what? How bad they felt 6 months ago?
That is why I don't like these headline articles, they are deceiving.

Here is unbiased data that shows the CCI since 2014.
And it shows that consumer confidence is still lousy. WAAAAY below where it was pre-pandemic.
This does not yet show December where there was a small uptick, but again, waaay below pre-Covid
