Why can't Public Assistance increase?

Oh, but you see, that's our fault. Since we won't butt the fuck out, and let business owners pay slave wages, then when they do this kind of shit to eliminate jobs, that's our fault because we were making it too hard for these poor business owners to make a profit...

You have to get your grubby little fingers out of free market capitalism and let it work. Life's not "fair" dipshit... never has been, never will be. You can't make it fair. All you can do is continue to push us into tyrannical dictatorship under Marxist-Socialism where we will have absolutely ZERO freedom.
Yes, let's bow to the whims of the greediest of sociopaths. Resistance is futile!

How do we break their imperial programming?

You don't. The fact is, we just need to keep doing what needs to be done to get living wage legislation passed. Let them bitch. Their bitching is irrelevant. You're never going to "convince" them. They'll just have to put up with the reality that they don't get to pay slave wages.

I agree. I think the saving grace is that they actually represent a fairly small minority.

Translation: We're going to wave the old tried and true "living wage" carrot on the stick once again, like we've been doing for 82 years. Studies show that works well on low-information voters. When we gain enough political power from this, we will rule with an iron fist and cram whatever we want down the throat of America.

If those kids (now adults) were born here then they are citizens. So they are not at issue in this discussion. We can debate whether its right that kids born here of illegals should be granted citizenship, but for now that's the law.

My second comment is merely taking your stated position to its ridiculous conclusion, which is something you libs never do because it reveals the flaws in your ideology.

The New BS GOP and the big racist orange idiot are a ridiculous disgrace.

Triggered yet?

You don't get it. Every single thing that drives leftist crazy has my support.

You just made my morning. Keep whining.
Too bad about the wrecked middle class

Who wrecked it?
Reaganist tax rates and loopholes, the New BS GOP propaganda Service, W duh.

Yup, too bad about the wrecked middle class and the country, party first dupe. Walmart is a horrible place to work, with most workers in poverty. ANOTHER Reaganist RW nightmare.

What are you smoking dude?

In my post I am clearly talking about illegals, and in your reply you're talking about Walmart and Reagan.
You weren't TALKING about anything, just spamming hate bs propaganda. All Trump cares about is cutting his own taxes and starting his new propaganda channel...lol

Since 1933 we've been hearing the same broken record from the Progressives.

Nothing changes.
Except: Reaganist tax rates and loopholes, the New BS GOP propaganda Service, W, pure mindless obstruction. FDR made us a modern country, and we're sticking with it lol.

Exactly. Lefties care about entitlements, wage, equal rights, gun control, etc. only when they have no voting power. They could have solved all these issues at the same time they forced ACA on us, but they didn't.

Regardless what thread is about, your answer is the same. But no, that's not propaganda.

What, you didn't get new talking points, so you're recycling the old ones?

Nobody expected Scott Brown, and the middle of a GOP world depression is no time for tax hikes on the bloated rich etc, dupe. ACA took the whole 2 months of control. And more...Thanks to GOP stalling/hypocrisy.

Nope... we were made a modern country by people like Andrew Carnegie and J.P. Morgan. What you're "sticking with" is the failed early 20th century policy of FDR that has never worked to provide this "living wage" you're always chasing. Your speeches are almost verbatim to what he said 82 years ago... through which, you've had the lion's share of control in Washington.

Tax rates NEED to be lowered. There is absolutely NO reason any American should be paying more than 20% in Federal income taxes. Corporate taxes should be lowered to near zero. The average 2,000 Federal regulations being passed by Congress each session need to be rolled back, rescinded, repealed and removed from around the necks of free market capitalists so the economy can roar again.

That is failed rhetoric. The time of the greatest economic, and employment boom in our history was under the Eisenhower administration when the tax rate was 91%. Now, I'm not suggesting that we need to go back to that, however, historically, every time the tax rate has been lowered, income inequality has risen, unemployment has increased, and federal revenue has decreased.

Or let's look at modern examples:

Kansas, did exactly what you insist is absolutely brilliant for the economy. Lowered taxes for the rich, repealed all taxes on more than 100,000 businesses, privatized Medicaid, cut $200 million from education, eliminated 4 government agencies, and 2,000 government employees. And how much did that boost Kansas' economy? Welllll...they suffered a $688 MILLION loss in revenue, are sitting on a $700 million deficit, and had a pathetic 1.1% job growth, the lowest in the nation.

Then there's that "libtard Utopia" California. When Schwarzenegger left office, he left California with a crippling $34 BILLION - That's Billion with a "B" - deficit. Since Jerry Brown came into office, He raised taxes on the rich - several times - has invested in clean energy, education, raised the minimum wage, and California now has a $4.2 Billion budget surplus.

Now, one of the two economic models - "Trickle Down", or raise taxes, and invest in the working class - works, and one doesn't. Hmmm...I wonder which one works...

Reaganist tax rates are killing the middle class, In the fifties, corps paid 30% of taxes, now 10%- and not giant corps, SMALL BUSINESS. GREAT JOB!. The rich are paying 12% of income in fed income taxes. The dupes know nothing.

The Demise of the American Middle Class In Numbers.

Over the past 35 years the American dream has gradually disappeared. The process was slow, so most people didn’t notice. They just worked a few more hours, borrowed a little more and cut back on non-essentials. But looking at the numbers and comparing them over long time periods, it is obvious that things have changed drastically. Here are the details:

1. WORKERS PRODUCE MORE BUT THE GAINS GO TO BUSINESS.

Over the past 63 years worker productivity has grown by 2.0% per year.

But after 1980, workers received a smaller share every year. Labor’s share of income (1992 = 100%):

1950 = 101%
1960 = 105%
1970 = 105%
1980 = 105% – Reagan
1990 = 100%
2000 = 96%
2007 = 92%

A 13% drop since 1980

2. THE TOP 10% GET A LARGER SHARE.

Share of National Income going to Top 10%:

1950 = 35%
1960 = 34%
1970 = 34%
1980 = 34% – Reagan
1990 = 40%
2000 = 47%
2007 = 50%

An increase of 16% since Reagan.

3. WORKERS COMPENSATED FOR THE LOSS OF INCOME BY SPENDING THEIR SAVINGS.

The savings Rose up to Reagan and fell during and after.

1950 = 6.0%
1960 = 7.0%
1970 = 8.5%
1980 = 10.0% – Reagan
1982 = 11.2% – Peak
1990 = 7.0%
2000 = 2.0%
2006 = -1.1% (Negative = withdrawing from savings)

A 12.3% drop after Reagan.

4. WORKERS ALSO BORROWED TO MAKE UP FOR THE LOSS.

Household Debt as percentage of GDP:

1965 = 46%
1970 = 45%
1980 = 50% – Reagan
1990 = 61%
2000 = 69%
2007 = 95%

A 45% increase after 1980.

5. SO THE GAP BETWEEN THE RICHEST AND THE POOREST HAS GROWN.

Gap Between the Share of Capital Income earned by the top 1%
and the bottom 80%:

1980 = 10%
2003 = 56%

A 5.6 times increase.

6. AND THE AMERICAN DREAM IS GONE.

The Probably of Moving Up from the Bottom 40% to the Top 40%:

1945 = 12%
1958 = 6%
1990 = 3%
2000 = 2%

A 10% Decrease.

Stupid. Workers produce more because machines and robots do the work instead of individual people. What took three or four people to process a part now only takes one person: the person running the robot or machine.

Historically, every time the tax rate has been lowered, income inequality has risen, unemployment has increased, and federal revenue has decreased.

This is patently false. Income inequality rises in a free society with a free market system, it's the nature of things. Wealthy people earn more money at a faster rate, hence they are wealthy. Subsequently, poor people are less motivated and more content to not earn more money. What you fail to factor in are the people in the middle becoming wealthy. You count their income and make it seem "the rich" are the same people from 20 years ago but they're not... "the rich" now include millions who were in the middle 20 years ago. Unemployment is a non sequitur because it rises and falls according to supply and demand in a free market. It really has little to do with taxes, although, raising taxes on businesses almost inevitably causes unemployment to rise.

And Federal revenues in modern times have never decreased as a percentage of GDP with any top marginal tax rate cut. Generally, it creates an increase.Tax hikes on the top marginal rates generally result in decrease of revenue as a percentage of GDP over five years. So it's actually the exact opposite of what you're claiming.

As for what STATES are doing... I couldn't care less. We're not discussing States. My comments on taxation are in regard to the FEDERAL taxes and FEDERAL government. Not the States. You turd heads like to confound the argument by moving the goal posts. You should know, that's never going to fly with me.
