They aren't unfounded. They're quite well founded.BTW, you didn't say anything about "punishing". You said we didn't believe in "innocent until proven guilty". Two different subjects, loon."Innocent until proven guilty" is just a legal term. People can actually be guilty in reality, regardless of whether or not they're convicted, or even caught. It's a fine point that doesn't make sense to the people who seem to think that the court determines whether or not a person actually did something bad.
Ok, so you punish people based on perception and not the rule of law.
