There's another way to think about.

She's running against a political party whose last president failed to protect the Eastern Seaboard of the United States- the same president who started the most failed war in US History based on highly suspicious war intelligence.

In other words, Hillary - the most flawed and beatable candidates the Democrats have ever run - is likely going to beat your party because 1) your party failed so completely at keeping the nation safe and executing its war powers and 2) she is facing a candidate who knows nothing about foreign policy and is afraid to show the American people what is in his tax return.

If Trump loses, than your party has to reevaluate the power it has given to the Tea Party and the non-college-educated white male. Trump represents the final victory of the low-information voter (whose information comes from insidiously simplistic sources like Talk Radio). If this victory of the uneducated conservative voter turns into a presidential defeat, than perhaps your party will return power to people who know the difference between Edmund Burke and Donald Trump.

Again, if your party's tough-talking anti-government candidate can't win the most winnable election in our lifetime, than you really should return power to the educated adults with real policy knowledge.
