Could it be that guns from other places are brought into the city?
Well if that were true why isn't crime as high in other city's that has less restrictive control laws?
So why does Chicago have a gun violence problem their must be another reason?

because people like LaKunta and Dudley live there....they drive people to violence....

Old School has it right. The more people you have per square mile the more violence you will have in a square mile exponentially. Gun don't even figure into the equation. Number if churches and unemployment rate will have a greater bearing on violent crime than gun laws.

Because too many people in Chicago play Grand Theft Auto and watch Tarantino movies.

All cities are prone to violence. Stick too many people close enough together and bad things are going to happen.

There are parts in every city in the world that I wouldn't want to live in without a gun.

That and there are parts that law enforcement just simply can't enforce without going in full body armor, fully automatic guns, and a group of 200-300 officers.

You see, there are apartment towers that are run by gangs. With no other way to enter besides the bottom floor or roof, you will have shootouts and such. If they were to go in there, people WILL DIE. And CPD doesn't want to get into that mess.

Well, if that isn't typical lefty behavior. The right uses good logic in a debate and the left divert the discussion to... well, whatever happens to be convenient at the moment.
