Well, my business is just me right now... and I'm good with that. That said, if I had to hire a second person, they'd get to keep whatever profit their work made. (The question still being, how much of my fee is profit vs. expenses I've incurred. Taxes were interesting this year.)

THis is the dark dirty secret I keep explaining to you. What creates jobs is consumer demand. YOu have consumer demand because the people who do the work are getting good money. You don't have consumer demand because so and so is CEO. I've never bought a product because So-and-So was the CEO of that company. I buy a product because I need it, and that company offers a product I like. Usually that product was there before X became CEO.
And these CEO's get their 8 figure salaries regardless of whether or not
Now, I'm not a sports fan and have never been to a pro-game in my life,and rarely watch them on TV. However, I have gone to movies if a movie stars someone I like. So, yeah, if that movie star's name bring me into the theatre, that person deserves a share of the cut.
But the thing is, the writer, the director, the film crew, the editors, etc... all the folks who are listed in the credits after a movie- they all get union wages and benefits.

But that's not really true. In fact, our lives were actually pretty miserable up until the New Deal. That when we got DEMOCRATIC capitalism demanding things like minimum wage, a safety net, unions, safe working conditions and end to child labor. Moreover, countries in Europe and Japan advanced because after World War II, those New Deal Democrats went to those countries and said, "This is how you actually do prosperity". Unfortunately, they are better at it than we are, so that's why they are eating our lunch today...

Actually, I understand Supply side just fine. Four Recessions since 1980. that's Supply Side.
The reality is, we've never got out of a recession without Keynesian level spending.
Ronnie Reagan may have cut taxes for the rich (before he raised them on the middle class) but what got us out of the 1981 recession he caused to fight inflation was the fact that he spent hundreds of billions on weapons and infrastructure. that put people to work and created- wait for it - demand.
